Prakash Karat praises PM's integrity, because the PM and his party have succumbed to the Left's blackmail on the Nuclear deal. No Congress PM except P.V.Narasimha Rao ever had any integrity. They all either belonged to the Nehru-Gandhi family or owed their allegiance entirely to the Nehru-Gandhi like the present PM. Then, where is the question of integrity? If the PM had integrity, would he have allowed criminals to be part of his Cabinet? Would he have looked on in silence even as the Congress appointed Governors were causing mayhem in Bihar, Jharkhand, Goa and presently in Karnataka. Integrity means, taking a correct and honest decision as a politician in the wake of things happening around him. On this count, Manmohan Singh has failed the test, as he owes his allegiance entirely to Sonia and does not take a step without her blessings. So, neither Karat has the right to give a Certificate to the PM about his integrity nor is it correct to say that our PM acts with integrity under every circumstance. His integrity is questionable. Narasimha Rao was the best Indian Prime Minister because he kept Sonia and her cohorts away and India owes its progress today to Narasimha Rao.

We also had Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri as PM who stands tall as nobody has any negative comments to make to his name. He was before Narasimha Rao who was qustionably involved with Harshad Mehta.

I do accept that I made a mistake by not mentioning Lal Bahadur Shastri. As he was PM for a very short time, the impact was not much. Whether Narasimha Rao was involved with Harshad Mehta is questionable, as it is more the Banks who gave him a free hand who were involved. It is not known whether Narasimha Rao was in the loop till it boiled over.
Left parties are retarded..They have made West Bengal the most poor, most uneducated, most CORRUPT and worst state of India in all these years and will make rest of india the same..they are against Development CPM gonna bite the dust if election held now

It beats the imagination why Prakash Karat and his party do not want India to take the next two steps in the nuclear engagement with the United States. The next steps are essential because they engage India with many more countries, diluting the hitherto isolation of our people from the larger world. Surely, we can be confident of our ability to transact what is the best deal for us and continue to ensure, through democratic negotiations, that we are not taken for a ride or exploited. But during the past two years, apart from barking and snapping at the Government every time the nuclear deal came up for discussion, the Left has done precious little. Let us not forget that it was the Left which broke ranks with the Opposition when the BJP suggested the adoption of a sense of the House resolution to fix the bottomline of the deal.
