Sardarji had threatened to resign ?
by chanakya maurya on Oct 31, 2007 12:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

So, is it at the behest of the paymaster general that Karat is doing this mallum-patti ?

To cajole him - the PM ?

It would be a big problem for the madam to find a substitute who may perhaps create untoward situations.

And with the election in not too distant a future, sardarji's continuation is thus an inevitability.

And the Left is BOUND to obey the madam.

That is for sure.

They - the left - cant afford to return the money.

Advani thinks he "may" get coronated.Coronation? He is worthy of Castration or Cremation. The first one is not possible, because he has already sold his balls to Jinna. Lol...!!!!

Read between the lines, that statement would read -
"...Only if I was the PM: Karat."

Slapping the father on his face and saying that I had a great respect to my father. This is what Karat wanted to say and teach the youth how the parliament works. Communist only know to oppose, but does not know why to oppose and what to oppose. People like Karat unskilled, unlaborious and purely a Nikamma party leader, what he knows about the development of the nation and what it requires for the future.

Advani understands Narendra Modi will be the Prime Ministerial candidate in the next General Elections. Advani has one way left out to join Manmohan Singh to become Prime Minister.

Its aimed at Mollifying Manmohan

You have to grant it to Karat on his skill. He has been able to carry his party despite reservations by Jyoti Babu and Budhadeb into cornering the goverement. No other support party has been able to subjugate the coalition goverment so effectively.Karat breathes fire on the issues and mollifies the personal dignity by praising the integrity levels.
On concerns being raised on his taking orders from Beijing - he is able to sidestep the issue the issue by saying that the left argument against the nuclear deal be answered and issues which have no bearing on the arguments need not be answered. He is truly a great manager...patriot??? I can't say . That perhaps Beijing will decide!!

It beats the imagination why Prakash Karat and his party do not want India to take the next two steps in the nuclear engagement with the United States. The next steps are essential because they engage India with many more countries, diluting the hitherto isolation of our people from the larger world.
Surely, we can be confident of our ability to transact what is the best deal for us and continue to ensure, through democratic negotiations, that we are not taken for a ride or exploited.
But during the past two years, apart from barking and snapping at the Government every time the nuclear deal came up for discussion, the Left has done precious little. Let us not forget that it was the Left which broke ranks with the Opposition when the BJP suggested the adoption of a sense of the House resolution to fix the bottomline of the deal.

PM's integrity unquestioned, says Karat

When you question any particular point is when it is there. If it is not there it is unquestioned. It is as simple as that.
i.e. if integrity is there it will be questioned, if it is not there it is unquestioned.
