Democracy in India is so fractured, the voters were never clear as to what they want from their Govt's, always there have been conflicting signals in choosing a Govt, in such circumstance how do you expect a Govt to be clear is what it want to do ? we cannot expect a particular section of people to be very clear while the majority are not clear in what they want, after all a Govt is formed by the elected people who are from the same society which the voters belong to, What needs to be done immly is to strengthen this awareness, and hope atleast 20 years from now voters will choose right set of people to lead the Govt.

Iraq had always voted for India against Pakistan on the issue of Kashmir in the world Islamic Conference. However, India did nothing for Iraq. Afghanistan always supported India, but India did nothing for Afghanistan when it had asked for help in 1989. Baluchistan wanted to join India in 1947, but Gandhi rejected it.
Soviet Union always helped India on every single matter, but now India wants to join American gang.
India is a bloody selfish ungrateful country if you think about it.
When Advani visited Washington after USA invaded Iraq, American Vice President Cheney came personally to meet Advani and convince him SO INDIA CAN SEND TROOPS TO IRAQ.
People like Bhadrakumar ARE NOT SAYING THESE THINGS. INSTEAD TRYING TO RESURRECT IMAGERY AS IF ADVANI IS SELLING THE COUNTRY TO USA.

He (Advani) didn't agree or was asked not to agree??? Get your facts right Mr. Mukherjee! Mr. Bhadrakumar has a view or have you, but calling other idiot doesn't make sense. By calling him idiot, u r projecting yourself as American stooge. Both condition - whether Russian stooge or American stooge- are equally harmful for our country.
Just wanted to make a point here. Bhadrakumar is saying that we should be sensitive to the Russian and Chinese interests as oppossed to our own interests! Shall we still claim that we are Indians and not Russians and Chinese by citizenship? Russian arms industry survives on Indian purchase. They dont want us to feel secure at all. Cant you see why they are denying to see our Pranab Mukherjee? Indian foreign policy is not aground my dear friend. It is doing it job, although it may not be flying high. If you are a frofessional foreign policy analyst ( and I am not) please come out with the agenda that will secure us without going to war, give us supplies of tactical weapons and allow us to remove poverty. Image of India is on the rise and we should break free from the past and move forward. One important thing for that is to know what we really want. The world is getting ready for a big game. Countries are being selected by team captains. As such there will be two teams. One headed by US and other maybe China/Russia or whatever. It is sure that most europeans and democracies will be on US team. Most communists and dictatorships will be on other team. As a nation, we need to decide where to go.
