You should be idiot to post this type of message. The strength of the dam cannot measured in how many years it was there. There is a dam in cauvery river which was built very long ago during cholo period which is still in use. Just dont post the msg without thinking the basic knowledge.
I am a tamilian, but I hate Karunanidhi. He is a master in creating troubles to tamils. 1. Because of that Blind fool, the Tamilnadu dont know the national language hindi.
2.He talks against the Hindhuism and now the whole India looks awkward aginst tamils because of his talk.
3. Give hurting words in mullaperiyar issue.

Before writing like this comment in the public forum have some basic knowledge about Indian Law or atleast refer to net.
India has a list of 23 official languages. Neither the constitution nor the laws of India accord the status of "National Language" to any language in India. Indian law states that no language will be made the National Language unless and until all the constituent states of the Union of India accept it. Out of the 28 states and 7 union territories, only 10 states and 3 union territories have Hindi as the principal official language.
Do you know what is the meaning of classical language if not Type Tamil in google search and found out the meaning then be proud to be having Hindi as your National Language.

Whether Hindi is a natioal language, is not an issue. Should we not learn hindi, which is spoken my majority in our country. How long we can remain isolated from main stream? Belive me, there are many in Tamilnadu, who belives that by learning hindi we will not loose anything. And also because of politics hindi is not taught in TN.

1). There is no national language for India, but there are 21 official languages. Hindi along with English are official languages for the Union Goverment.
2). Only Hindu extremists and pseudo patriots who are there to appease the minority brahmins get hurt by his comments.
3). As per the agreement between the Madras Presidendy and the Kingdom of Travancore that Madras Presidency can be the cutodian of the dam for 999 years.

poip is 100% correct.If Mr Karana utilizes his ability in solving states problems in stead of poking his nose in to Hindu Religion it'd be better.But J appreciates all the religious sentiments.As we poor TAMILS to protect ourselves have no option except supporting the opposition....
Kerala is a state blessed with 52 rivers all over acrross. But 80 percent of the water flowing to the sea without using. apart from every year sufficient rain too. but not utilising ani of this water for increase agriculture productivity. The unwise land distribution and over activity of Left trade unionism destroyed Kerala's agriculture and farming. But Kerala Politicians always protest and complain TN or Karnataka taking their water share even they are not utilising it.
Why dont kerala disscuss with TN and settled this old dam problem. keeping the present water sharing ratio even after build new dam. Any way new dam is for the safety of people it should be constructed. TN is using water and cultivating vegitables and rice and all for supplying to Kerala. is that not a good thing. Farming in kerala is not a profitable bussiness anyway. most of the farmlands are used for many other purposes including constructions.
Both states avoid politics and sit together to find way out to save life of over a million people. It is easier for them both states present govts are partners of UPA and their states.

Are you supplying vegetables and rice to Kerala free of cost. On the contrary, a sizable section of Tamil farmers survive on Kerala markets. Kerala is the place where they can sell their item at reasonable price. Now tell me who is more dependent on whom?
If there are no consumers, what the manufacturer will do?

Dear Kassim, Wait for some months and just take some photographs of all 52 Rivers and send it to all. By that time Karunanidhi will die and do what ever is important to save life of the people.
This will industrialise kerala and tamilnadu will get enough water source. I am mallu, guys i do not see any other way for kerala to develop. North kerala guys you have the option to join karanataka. Tamil and kanada guys please understand plight our community ruled sate and accept us. We are ok of a 100 years leasing also. Anyway half the population is already in chennai and bangalore !!

Most of the above state / regional disputes are invented out of your imagination and not that serious, but TN is exception. Take the cauvery dispute, every six months it occurs and the life in Bangalore as well as both border states comes to standstill followed with frequent disputes such as Ramsethu, Anti Hindi Anti Brahmin and now dispute with Kerala. Your politicans are really sick people not eligible to be called as Indian nationals. Shame on you.
