Will Tehelka and the sordid prepaid Media comment on this now ? Will they hold Rajiv Gandhi and the Congress responsible for the same deeds they are trying to frantically fix Modi. The Sikh tragedy was not genocide or a holocaust - it was the only preplanned state sponsored massacre ever to happen in India. By trying to dilute the Godhra incident of burning of Hindus, just like mishra did with the sikh massacre the UPA is actually belittling the riots itself and in fact putting the muslim community to much greater risks...
Friends from the posted messages all of us are unanimouly upset and hurt on what transpired and what is transpiring, it seems we have not learnt from the past. What can we do to change is the question. We for one are educating the children of our domestic help by paying their school/college fee and bringing about some awareness and can only hope that they become responsible and good citizens. Lets all resolve to do something to bring about this change in ourselves and in the less fortunate.
It wasn't riots, it was a planned murder by our so called %u2018secular%u2019 party. This is an appeal to all Sikhs that we shouldn%u2019t forgive congress for this. Rajeev Gandhi & other congress leader%u2019s were the master mind of this act. Sikhs were burned alive, hanged, women%u2019s were raped in front of their families.
I know a father who has seen 3 of his sons burned alive in front of him, an innocent cab driver whom I haven%u2019t seen even speaking louder with anyone. East Delhi was worse affected one, even some came to attack the refugee camps in police line, Kingsway camp.
It wasn%u2019t Hindu%u2019s or Muslims who have done it, it was done / planned / executed / mastermind / implemented / carry out / accomplish by CONGRESS.
Being a Sikh, I don%u2019t have any regrets for any other religion. God will take care of the people who have done this & everyone of us should do our bit to ensure people who were responsible should be punished.
Everyone knows about Tytler, H KL & many others. Even we can%u2019t forgive our %u201CGyani%u201D, panth will always remember him as GADDAR.

I will never forget the fear I saw in a young sikh boys eyes as he set out to buy provisions.Not wanting him to risk or take a chance We asked him into our car and asked him to wait and bought all what he wanted for which he paid and dropped him to his house. He was so grateful and my 2 small boys were with us who till date remember it. We were in Calcutta at the time where it was not as bad as Delhi but the madness hit the entire country.I pray this never ever happens again

What is the point in wasting time to punish small fishes involved in these riots? Big fish, then PM,Rajiv Gandhi was responsible for these riots as he wanted to take revenge by killing innocents persons of that community and he forgot that he is PM of this country also. Anyhow, he paid for his deeds as he was murdered by LTTE. All these remaining fishes instigated riots just to please him and his party.
An UPA government which did the drama of seeking apology from the sikh Community did not have the courage to punish their ministers who led the riots. In fact Maharashtra is a state where people did not receive compensastion since last 23 years and now also it shows no sign of giving compensation. The G.R reads that the compensation given will be 10 times the compensation given after the riots. No compensation was given since 1984, even the mere 50000/- compensation as assured by late Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi was shown Dust Bin. People after 23 years are still demanding probe for the people who commited crime & compensation to be given. SHAME SHAME UPA GOVERNMENT...... SHAME SHAME......

This kind of madness and mob senseless violence must never ever happen again. All political parties are to blame over the years for instigating violemce just to stay in power and will publicly condemn it. Complete failure of a system and the govt. who then has to protect the people belonging to their different parties.

my biggest fear is that if the govt. continues it's arrogant and stupid ways that this country will slowly become more polarized and head towards a revolution.
