If records are checked it will be a record of sorts that head of any country is attacked so many times and every time he is saved well he will say allah malik but it makes us wonder on 2 things
1) THE CONDITION OF PEOPLE IN PAKISTAN WHO CANT STOP ATTACK ON THEIR GENERAL OR SO CALLED PRESIDENT.
2) IS THIS ALL STAGED BY PRESIDENT HIMSELF TO CREATE VOTES AND USA IN HIS FAVOR????

WHAT EVER PAK IS IN WRONG HANDS AND THIS IS HARMFULL FOR WHOLE WORLD

Where is God
by Imran on Oct 30, 2007 02:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All religions are fake and based on myths. No religion on earth can be followed by an educated and intelligent man. One person comes up with an idea, scribbles it on parchment, and before long it becomes "ancient wisdom." The more people who believe in the nonsense the more "holy" it becomes. Hey, before long it's "Divine Wisdom!" And so you ask yourself, "What really is truth?" Suddenly you find yourself face to face with reality. Frightening at first, unnerving, you're on your own. There is no deity watching over you, caring for you, looking after your interests. It dawns on you how naive you've been to assume there was such a thing. For if there was such a thing as a caring deity, how come it ignores the pleas of millions of people suffering from disease, drowning at sea, burning in buildings, starving to death?

Hats off to you Imran...would have taken me days to put those thoughts together. You are right religion is nothing but a form of selection among us humans. Each religion selcts its own and rejects the others. Being a Hindu, i too know not everything written is true or needs to be true...its all ancient wisdom, the world has moved forward 4000 years but out thoughts remain old. We still believe that the society 4000 years back was better, maybe it was,but it hard to say. Religion in todays world has become a complicated phenomenon. I think if darwin was right and if their is actually a survival of the fittest, I dont see people too deep in religion surviving. All we know is the world may end tomorrow and neither Ram,allah or jesus would appear and save us just like that..and again its human mind, that finds faults with others but none in its own, so let all those people abuse you just on the basis of your name....good luck with your thoughts.

Thx Saket the violence I to see convinced me that hatred is caused due to religion. I%u2019m afraid that if this meance is not checked our future generation will be doomed. Infants and pregnanat women are also not spared by religious maniacs.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

I wish the concept of god was that simple as our human brain wants it to be.I wonder what about the other animals on this planter, most of which fight almost everyday for their survival against us humans...well God needs to be really cruel, that he dosent even come to save those simple creatures which cant even defend themselves against us. Half of them are getting extinct, the rest are slaves to our lifestyles. Do they think of us as Gods as their survival almost depends on us now. Religion comes out of the will to survive against odds. People we worship today were facing X number of odds for their survival at that time, anything and anyone that seemed helpful became God. We humans suffer from the guilt of our evils, and God and religion becomes the escape route for us. Those you dont sin, what do they need to pray for? Those who dont need anything, what do they need to pray for? Those you are not scared ,why do they need to pray?...I guess as all good or bad things come to an end, maybe religion wld lead the way to show humans our end.take care dude.

Dude don%u2019t go by what the media projects and say islam is the only religion supporting violence. U don%u2019t understand the Christians well they have a very good policy of spreading religion. What happened in iraq do u know how many people died bcoz of bush. I don%u2019t follow islam but I know the sinister policy of the west they are hell burnt on destroying muslims and spread Christianity. If governments commit acts of war its fair but if common people do it it is called terrorism.

hi imran - pretty matured thoughts. appreciate it. one word of advice - am sure am old enuff to be heeded. since you have crossed the line of 'to believe or not to believe', i think you should do some thinking n really try to understand that whether mindless killings/mass murderd are at all related to 'caring deity' - as you say.
i am not contradicting what you wrote - mind that. i am only trying to point out that, your writing, though pragmatic, reflects that you still have pent up emotions against 'almighty' - probably you still believe in him.
if you are more detached, you can be a good thinker of our times.
best wishes

Sir I%u2019m not against god I don%u2019t mind people praying to anything they want but it should be personal and inside the 4 walls of their room. I%u2019m totally against organized religion bcoz it is huge scam. If the amount of effort and money spent on religion was spent on development India would have been a superpower by now. Faith makes people blind and stupid because they are taught not to question things that are written in their holy book. The Bible has made women lesser beings, told men to kill their children and people to kill each other (once in a while, there is some message about love, but the message, for me, gets lost in all the killing). God seems to take sides, have chosen people and demand worship all the while saying we have free will, and that he loves everyone. Religion makes people stupid when they buy into the idea that the earth is only something like six thousand years old that that the universe sprang into being in ready-to-use form in only six days in spite of all the signs that say this is not the way it happened.

Wow.. You really summed it up, Imran. But for each such suffering, "they" give logical reasons!!.."This was due to their bad karma in the earlier life"..So for any happening, these religion-wallahs have got reasons. Some of us believe it; when this belief goes to extreme levels, we see what we are seeing the world over now in the form of morale-less terrorism & suffering of innocents..

Yes Soumitra u are right religious people seem to have answers for all questions but only the weak people can be fooled by them . Priests, politicians and terrorists are using religion to exploit people. All these 3 groups depend on others for their living but seldom do any work, indeed religion has helped them to satisy their own goals.

Yes Sir that%u2019s the sad point about religion. It creates hatred in people and is easily proved by the comments on this forum, people are happy to see people die bcoz they don%u2019t belong to their religion. People who die in blasts are actually innocent and poor people.
How can a sane human being even think of killing small children is above my understanding.
Men will wrangle for religion; write for it; fight for it; die for
it; anything but live for it.
