Greedy politicians
by ss on Oct 30, 2007 03:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP's hurry to grab power is understandable.

While the delay in giving green signal to them for the formation of the government is debatable, it is for sure that their hurry is not to serve the people of Karnataka. When every other party can plunder, why not they?

BJP is not a good party to rule india/any state, bcoz they are cheating not only hindus, they are cheating the whole nation. In south it is matter of forward or backward castre politics. south 2nd is the winners. north 1st is the winners.

BJP is begging - We need leaders, not beggars of power
by Francis Dcunha on Oct 30, 2007 03:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I feel we cannot have a government with a begging bowl. They are not leaders. BJP is begging for power. For what are they begging, not to rule, but to make enough money, money from where, money from we the tax paying public. Yediurappa or for that matter anyone from any of the present political groups in Karnataka are not fit enough to lead us. Lets all go for fresh elections. Anyway our money will go, so lets see if we can get some good out of this. Lets promote some youth as leaders.

For your information compared to congress BJP has got more milage on education front, they have got many educated fellows.

BJP's lust for power
by Keshava Murthy on Oct 30, 2007 03:25 PM  Permalink

BJP has still not learnt the lesson from the past. It is banking on Deve Gowda who has more than once slapped them on the face. It is shameless. They are going along a person who a few days earlier called them a curse on Karnataka. JD(S) la Deve Gowda is a double edged sword which will hurt you whichever side you walk.

Constitutionally, it is the governor's prerogative.
by chanakya maurya on Oct 30, 2007 03:22 PM  Permalink

The remote control of that prerogative is often with the rulers in Delhi.

Governor is but a kath putli.

He/she is a kind of a suba of the Nurjehan of Delhi Darbar.

Governor Sent the letter to Dissolve swiftly and now crawling under Sonia's instructions
by S S on Oct 30, 2007 03:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now the Congress has started playing its usual game of If NOT me no one else should. The Congress now says that this BJP-JD(S) formation is illegal and the Governor should not allow such formation. The Governor is an appointee of the Congress government at the centre and the President also belongs to the Congress party. We cannot expect them to act against the wishes of the high command. Now what is going to happen no one can surmise. Had the JD(S) kept its commitment and handed over power to the BJP on October 3, it would have saved at least its image. The Congress taking advantage of the situation, started playing monkey-sharing bread between two cats with the hope that it can devour the whole bread. Apprehending the ingenious game indulged in by the Congress, the JD(S) made an about turn to support the BJP. There are no real heroes in this episode but the one who has come out looking most silly, if not shame-faced and downright deceitful, is Gowda.

Exactly right. BJP is hungry for power like Congress. There is no difference between both the parties. Gowda family is totally boneless chicken like father son also. BJP treasry is empty since last three years and now they want money for comining general election. Congress is full of funds and they can fight. But what about poor people. Middle class peole, tax payer. I am doubt if BJP form the government they will not struck up more than two months because Kumarswamy will allow him to surveve. This is the fact. Kumarswamy realy agree he will allow them long back as per their agreement but now it is opportunity and shaked the hands with congress hence this is drama. therefore BJP should keep mum and force to reelection and come with majority. That is really game. Show the people what is what unless barking here and there and threating to Governor, Prime Minister and expecially Sonia Gandhi. First Vankai Naidu should keep his tounge in control then all BJP will set right. Like Sushma Swarj keep mum and award the best parlimentrian award. Bring the wrong things to public and win the race that is BJP and not cricising. Try to avoid mixed government this is loss for every one.

Governor should act according to law
by reddy mrv on Oct 30, 2007 03:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Bharatiya Janata Party in Karnataka has rightly issued a warning to the Guv. "Invite us in 24 hours. Else, we will go to people and seek justice," that is what the BJP said in a letter to the governor.

The Governor, Shri Rameshwar Thakur seems to be'slowgoing and inept'. He should be condemned by all means, if he does not act meaningfully and democratically and as per the constitution of India.

The people of the state should agitate for justice in Karnataka State and demand the removal of the Governor.

Such instance had happened in actions of former Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Ram Lal in the last decade.
