FIR
by sandeep singh sandhu on Oct 30, 2007 04:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Announce an ex gratia of 50,000 to the next of the kin of those killed. Register an FIR against the volcanoes, get the postmortem done on dinasaurs, and order a CBI enquiry into the foreign angle. And you must say it:Law will take its own course.

Let us not give our rights to do research on our land!
by DSK Rao on Oct 30, 2007 04:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am sure there are enough Geologists and Volcanologists in India who are capable of taking that study. We should not be too eager to open up our lands for Research until and unless we get the benefits. I understand in the name of studying Pyramids in Egypt , many western scientists silently took away ancient secrets! I may appear narrow minded , but I am a Patriot first. Our Yoga,Ayurveda,.. are being shamelessly being taken away and also getting Patented! when for any small thing we are asked to pay thru our noses under the garb of Licenses/Patents.

What more? These western 'diggers' would shamelessly tell lies to say the Brahmin Aryans cunningly erupted these volcanos and destroyed... And our sickular media would also publicise this as an annexure to the Aryan Invasion Theory... Let us be careful...

When you say about Yoga/Ayurveda, it is directly linked to 'Hindu way of life' from time immemorial. Anything associated with 'Hindu' is taboo to the so called custodians of minority communities. So no corrective action of any kind is expected from any state and central govts. Forget about it and don't speak; somebody will watch you for being 'fundamentalist'.

Yes somebody may agree with your opinion on opening of our land mass to foreign researchers
