No rubbish can be expected from a person like Tharoor.
by chanakya maurya on Oct 30, 2007 12:34 PM  Permalink

However, the guy threw it anyhow.

What credibility is Tharoor talking about ?

Why is the UPA reluctant to put it to vote in the House ?

Does the duo - Sardarji and the super PM lady = think they are above the House ?

What could simply be entered into as a business treaty is being given political hues.

America would not be giving the fuel free after all.

They will charge hard cash for it.

In American Dollars.

It is likely they are surplus in it and thats why they are anxious to sell it to Bharatvarsh.

Where does the credibility come into the picture, Mr. Tharoor ?

Or r u, 2, on the Washington's payroll.

If Morarji could be so accused you are a much smaller fry, Mr. Tharoor.

This was definitely not expected of you !

U were supposed to become the Secretary General of that world body !

Supposed to be a neutral guy !

Has Sashi Tharoor found a job since he left UN in disgrace ,after serving faithfully for 29 years ? US is probably now offering carrot to him to do the dirty work for USA.

If India is going to miss the RACKET,so be it.

No need for this deal

The nuclear agreement with America according to Kalam is secondary. If it comes with no strings attached, it is welcome. Otherwise it has no meaning for India.

Dr. Kalam though immensely respectable comes from the wrong generation... the generation that kept India a 3rd world country. His views should be discounted. We want to side with forces of democracy and liberty.

Get SAME deal as US-China or No Deal at all
by apjunkmail on Oct 30, 2007 02:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

India SHOULD want the same terms as the US-
China nuclear agreement even if it
takes significantly longer to
negotiate.

India cannot agree to Fissile Material
Cutoff Treaty objectives which is part
of NSG draft .
As it is a back door to
cap and roll back of Indian Nuke
weapons. Without Fissile Material
nukes weapons cannot be mantained or
when Fissile Material degradation in
the weapons takes place they cannot be
refreshed in future.
Example like you have a car with half tank of petrol and you are cut off from ever puting more fuel. When you run out of that half tank thats it.
No deal is better than Bad deal

What are the diffeences between Chinese N-Deal and the pending 123 agreement?

123 agreement does not require India to cut-off fissile material production. India's deal with NSG will NOT include fissile material limit.

If you don't agree with this fact then please give us reference to prove otherwise. Else you are just spreading anti-India mis-information.

Please read following article,
The nuclear deal and `minimum deterrence'

www.hindu.com/2006/07/10/stories/2006071004751100.htm
"...there is nothing in any agreement India has signed that commits it to cap or

reduce its weapons-grade fissile material stockpiles."
