how do you know ??? If they have said no, JDS would have joined hands with Congress. You are a fool if you think like that.

Agree Sanjeev. There would definitely have been a split in JD(S) and Congress would be in power. Next time people would say they(BJP) got power but did not take it and they could lose the election straight without a fight.
Congratulations to BJP. Hope you will get more seats in AP, Kerala & Tamil Nadu in near future. Islamic terrorists beware of BJP, Now BJP landing into South!!!

Keep day dreaming!
In Karnataka the National level parties like Congress and JD(S). So BJP did have a chance in Karnataka. May be this is possible in AP too because Congress is still a dominant party there.
Come to TN the National parties are out of the scene way back in 60's. So logically TN will not fall in the hands of pseudo patriots or any other so called National parties.

By stalling Sethu Samudram project BJP has created an impression that it is an Anti-Tamil Party.
Moreover check the number of seats BJP has won in the 2006 election when it fought without an alliance, it is a big ZERO.
First let BJP get MLA in double digits then it can think about forming a government in TN.

Die hard....Maybe your still a kid to speak about politics is what I understand....your TN regional parties beg before the national parties to get some representation in the center...look at that no hair blind glassed karuna he was with bjp when it helped him in center...now with congress....and fyi TN has i think 30 seats in Lok sabha...dude its 30 in 430 i think....care a dammm....did your karuna even get a single digit in any other state...atleast bj as yo agree staterd to get a single digit...!! and FYI again - BJP started off by 1 or 2 seats in 1980 and 1990 and then it now has an image of a strong opposition...during all this time you karuna was building a bridge from tn to sl ...lol

PLEASE GET UR FACTS RITE...NONE IS BEGGING 2 REPRESENT TAMILNADU...LOOK at the bikaari or the states north of vindhyas..who is pumping money where.. ask this question to shard pawar or lallu.. Get your facts right dude.
It was Mr.Vajpayee who was begging to Amma to provide the letter of support in year 1998 and Mr. Jaswant Singh was waiting in the living room of Veda Nilayam (Jaya's house) for hours to receive the letter.
Moreover Karuna was not begging for the representation but he was dictating his terms to get the right portfolios to both of the weakest National parties (pseudo secular Congress and pseudo Nationalist BJP).
The sunset of Congress is very near. It has lost almost all of its strong holds in the country and there are no takers for Cong policies anymore. Either it would be local parties themselves or with the BJP alliance.
I agree BJP is alien to TN, but once BJP is established in Karnataka, (hoping that Tamil people read national/non-TN news) BJP will establish itself in TN along with Jaya.
Look at the happenings between different political parties in Karnataka for a last month or so....it is an utter mockery of political system after getting the people%u2019s mandate & will be condemned by all people of state, they think once they get elected they can do what ever they want. We don't expect 100% from all these politicians when it comes to the minimum expected qualities, commitment, dedication & public behavior, off course it is not possible in India and even if they dedicate 50% interest from there personal interest (me....myself%u2026..ourself) towards the general public, the state would have achieved a lot. It looks like everyone are drinking something else in place of water, we should rewrite the constitution as %u201CGovernment is by the people & for their families%u201D, questions with lot%u2019s of question marks that will arise in common man's mind with this situations are 1)Principles, 2)Self Gesture, 3)Ideologies, 4)Self Stand%u2026..DIRTY POLITICIANS. Governor should not allow anyone to form the government, either he should rule the state for the remaining period of time or dissolve the assembly in order to take a fresh mandate. In case if the government is allowed to form with this situation, the biggest beneficiaries will be Major%u2026Middle%u2026Mini%u2026%u2026.Gowda & Co., instead of carrying out the roles & responsibilities for the people benefits, they will start there work from where it was left & start completing it neatly for there familie

I suppose Shivakumar really wants the Governor to dissolve the govt by politicians who lack "commitment, dedication and public behavior" so that the clean and virtuous politicians, i.e., those in the Congress party can take over. Thank you very much.

THIS IS GROUND REALITIES --- SWITCHING THERE STAND ON HOURLY BASIS....BLAMING EACH OTHER...& THEY CLAIM "PEOPLE VERDICT IS WITH US". IS IT FOR ANYTHING & EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE IN THE PAST ONE MONTH????????
where ever bjp establishes it self it will spred deep roots in that region, it will be very difficult for other parties to regain ground, look at congress it almost decimated in north india and i don even see any future for it in north.politically BJP is a challenge to southern regional parties.it will be interesting to watch how DMK,telugudesem,DMK,LDF etc will handle them

No Chance for BJP in AP as of now. As their is no charsmatic leader and a strong person to drive the BJP in AP, and AP is more like leader oriented people than party oriented. So let the BJP come out with new charsmatic leader in mould like Mr.Vajpayee then the state will have the first BJP govt.

yes die-hard, I agree with you. Tamilians already have a fool/fanatic CM like Karunanidhi :)) The only nationalism you know is tamil nationalism and dravidian politics - so I don't think BJP has a chance in TN - nor has the congress any chance there.

DMK cadres will all switch to AIADMK after Karunanidhi. So the only party that will fight them will be BJP and not congress. Probably Stalin can keep the DMK to himself but he will become obsolete. Even Maran and family are waiting for the last days of Karunanidhi and will quickly switch to AIADMK.
RE:bjp & others

It is unfortunate that you don't understand the politics of TN. AIADMK is no different than the fascist pseudo patriots Sangh Parivar. Infact our Brahmin Jaya Amma has supported Karsevaks during 1989 and she was the one to attend Mass Murderer Modi's swearing ceremony.
Infact AIADMK is losing its cadre base to DMDK. And no other party in TN has the guts to fight the elections by having alliance with Upper Caste BJP.
In my view BJP has no future in TN unless a miracle happens.
The far possible case is that Rajni gives a helping hand. But his credibility in the political arena is never been that good.

Pls..NO rajini...he is riding on that 30 min interview on SunTv when he told "even god cant save Tn when amma comes 2 power" after that..he is nothing..atleast vkanth is consoldiatting his vanniyar vote base..wdnt be a surprise if PMK dicthes DMK after KK and alings with DMDK with lots of other chota parties as a 3rd front alternative. take it fro now..it wd be DMK al allone fighting the next elections..AMMA wd align with BJP after the polls..he wd bash all and later align..typical of amma so not a big worry for BJP..unless the 3rd fornt gets huuge supprt from Mayawati..its bullhsit eyewash this 3rd front.. Pls pray everone so that commies dont join the 3rd front and use the communal hardline and split votes and again have some seats which wd give 1 party a majority and make us suffer for another 5 yrs

Who is a seperatist?. Come and see in Tamilnadu, how North Indians are respected with a term called sait (immaterial of the fact whether he is a sait or not). On the contrary the North Indians see a tamilian with "Saala Madrasi! Isko Hindi bhi nahin aata" attitude.
And this attitude rightly flamed by "One Nation/ One Relegion/ One Language " agend of the RSS.
The Congress is no exception. Now because of the compulsion of coalition they are bending a bit.

intersting statement "tamilians are not fools/fanatics " what do u mean by foolish n fanatics can u define both of them.
ultimately we the people of karnataka re bakras. i feel that a party like BJP should not have done this i have lost complte faith in this party and now i feel the congress is definitely the best choice in this state as atleast they are not third rate like the BJP
