1. BJP RULES MORE STATES THAN CONGRESS.

2. CONGRESS'S SITUATION TODAY, SPECIALLY IN NORTH INDIA, IS WORSE THAN WHEN CONGRESS FACED ROUTE IN 1977.

3. BJP HAS MORE MLA AND MP THAN CONGRESS IN INDIA.

All Hindu temples, Maths must be released from Govt Control
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Oct 30, 2007 09:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All Hindu temples, Maths must be released from Govt Control in Karnataka.

Temple, Math money is used to build Masque, Churches in all these southern Indian states.

Karnataka High Court asked the Govt to stop this, but psuedo Govt did not do it.

Let BJP do something on this. Once done in Kartanaka, neighboring states of TN, Kerala, Andhra will be forced to do that.

ITS LONG OVER DUE. PLEASE GIVE SOME IMPORTANCE TO THIS.

I think most of the temples in Karnataka is under their respective Mutts control. Only in TN the problem of Govt controlling all Hindu temples is there. The so called rationalist party members fight to enter the governing boards, for reasons known to all.Isnt it a joke they call themselves rationalists.

Hey, Congress got minimum seat in last election, faught against JDS in Karnataka. Why they joined to form the Govt then?

Look at present UPA at center. CPIM, CPI...faught against Congress, and then joined hand to share power.

Does these go into your head?

Karnataka: BJP to get home ministry; JD-S finance
by RANGANATH HB on Oct 30, 2007 08:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The formation of BJP-JD(S) Govt is still not a certainity, given the fact that the Congress are past masters at playing spoil sport (all in the interest of upholding the Indian Constitution!!!!!!!!!).

The Congress has already started talking of dissolving the assembly and going in for fresh elections. They term this alliance as unholy. All because they are not a part of the alliance. The alliance would have been more than holy if only the Congress was a part of it instaed of the BJP!!!

The Congress will go to any extent to deny the BJP a right to form their first Govt in South India. But the Congress should realise that if they do not allow the BJP now, they will once again gift a lot of public sympathy to the BJP. So if the elections are held now, it is possible that the BJP will benefit maximum.

Karnataka-Government formation
by ramachandra mahale on Oct 30, 2007 07:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The last para of the article is incomplete and misleading. As far knowledge goes after the cabinet decides to revoke President's rule, the decision is to be conveyed to the President who will revoke the President rule and revive the Legislative Assembly. It is not the state cabinet to be revived as is reported.

You are right. It is President who has a final word. and the decision will definitely to send these people home and get the peoples' verdict again. Karnataka people are fed up with this type of politics . They do not spare even Governor also to attack verbally. They set the dead line for Governors verdict Else to face the cosequences What a shame ?????

BJP in TN
by Vendan K on Oct 30, 2007 01:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think its a tall order ... BJP needs to reform itself.. Tamil religious identity is separate.. Although Hindus, Tamils pay more attention to Alwars, Nayanmars and their own lineages and Bhakti material ...

Also, Tamil as a language is used a lot as a mode of religion/devotion. BJP has to overcome these issues to strike a chord with the people.

Also, there is no animosity towards Christians or Muslims in TN .. SO BJP again has no agenda ..

Jaya is losing all her cadre to Vijayakanth and Sarath Kumar .. So cant rely on her either ..

BUt in Politics you can never say ...

To my knowledge, there are no Ram Temples in TN. Moreover only Brahmins worship Ram in Tamilnadu. It is commonly beleived that Ram is an Aryan god in Tamilnadu. That is the reason why it did not create much futters in TN when MK commented abt Ram and Ramayan.

Tamilians are more rational and they will give in to the pseudo patriots' inflate (communal divisions) and rule policy.

"inflated"...exactly..but the problem is that was how DMK and ADMK were able 2 keep BJP and Congis and Commies out..Somehow TN has insulated itself, and its good for TN on any day to avoid BJP(Lk adavani came 2 coimbatiore, only to have 13 bomb go at same time) and Tn ppl wd always remember Ammas flop show gamble with the 13 day Vajpaaye govt. KK is not pseudo atheist/rationalist or tamil patriot..he is open about his idealogy. Funny thing is that still Tamil has not got clasical langugae status, Cauvery and Mullai Periyar is not solved (KN --> BJP, Kerela--> Commies)for obv reasons. I wihs BJP could target LS and not the Legislature polls in TN...Next time around..hopefully KK should die and infisghting wd start and Amma can clearly get a mandate and all this 3rd party stuff is eyewash...not to trust Samajwadi party for sure..Next LS electioons...AP and TN wd squarley fall into BJPs hands and wd setup a nice platform for ppl like amma and naidu to gain momentum wihtin the state..Look what US Politicos are saying; they were more comfy with BJP and not Congress. You need a strong PM..post independance..this balle balle manmohan ki bhangra wd rank along with Nehrus flirting as the WORST/WEAKEST/SYCOPAHNTIC/HYPOCRITIC PM India has ever had..PVR and Vajpaaye were the best!!!!
LK advani wd be even better...he shd have sidelined vajpayee after that 13 day collapse of BJP and set himself as a PM candidate..well Vajpaayye knows how 2 cry like a baby and say i wd quit frm BJP ...

Well said!

TN is the one (probably the only one) state which has very good communal harmony.

But since the pseudo patriots RSS has started gaining ground in TN there are incidents like Coimbatore bomb blasts, Thenkasi murders. But in general TN is a peaceful state in term of Communal Harmony.

I dont see any chance ot Captain or Sarathkumar leaning towards BJP.

But still as you said you can never predict the politicians.
