Indian plitics
by Kandikuppa Krishna Murty on Nov 20, 2007 09:59 AM  Permalink

Does Indian politicians have any specific morals and ethics to rule our country? Recent happenings in Karnataka is a fresh example to educate and caution the voters before excercising their option for voting during elections, both at state and central level.

The best way to keep BJP out of contention for ever, is to let it govern for some time. It happened at the Center, and it is going to happen in Karnataka.

And also, if you want growth like Gujarat, then also you can vote for BJP.
Its just matter of a few people vs the rest of the state.
Also, if you want that no innocent people will be burnt inside a train, then also you can vote for BJP.

BJP and Advani
by Amit Arora on Oct 30, 2007 07:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP head Mr Lal Kishan Advani, who born in Pakistan Is apposing the Nuclear Deal.
Before pointing to Sonia Gandhi as an Italian. First Advani has to prove himself how loyal he is to India by supporting the Nuclear Deal.
Advani has to prove he is with Nuclear Deal or with his motherland Pakistan.

Dont be stupid! Advani was born in "Pakistan" when India and Pakistan were a single country. By your stupid argument, Musharraf becomes an Indian as he was born in Delhi. But, Soina was born in Italy which has never been a part of India ever. That must put your doubts to rest.

Anyway, supporting the Nuclear Deal is not the yard stick to measure patriotism.

Karnataka: BJP, JD(S) all set to form govt
by my message on Oct 29, 2007 07:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

JD (S) is in a catch 22 situation. They will not survive if they go with the Congress and they will not survive if there are elections now. The least risk for them now is to go with the BJP and try to salvage some honour after failing withtheir committment.

Finally they had to come back to the BJP. In hind sight, they should have done this at the end of their 20 month stint. They would have retained their moral standing had they done so.

Mr. M P Prakash is a decent politician. He has unfortunately been caught in this quagmire. Seems this could will be the end of his political career.

No one will be allowed to grow in stature in the JD(S) except for Deve Gowda and his family. The treatment to Siddaramaiah is very much known. Ultimately if Mr. MP Prakash joins the Congress, he will also end up as a no-body in the Congress.
