Governor & Congress
by Manish Airy on Oct 29, 2007 05:59 PM  Permalink

Should Governor delay the process of installing the new Govt. led by BJP in Karnataka, BJP & JD(S) should seek his removal & file a writ petition in Supreme Court immediately. Jharkhand, UP, Goa & now K'tka these cases should be enough for people to throw out Congress & UPA from the central govt.in the next elections that could be due early next year.

This Kumbhkarna from karnataka is a power hungry, meanminded, corrupt politician who does not hesitate to take a complete U turn if it suits him (rather his pocket)
He is busy plotting against his friends and foes alike when awake.Untrustworthy and dangerous than a pit viper.
God!!!!
He was our priminister.

Yeddyurappa will teach him a good lesson.
DeveGowda can only play his funny tricks with dummies like Dharam Singh, JH Patel etc, not with the powerful leader Yeddy.

Governor has no authority to take personal decision
by Vikas on Oct 29, 2007 04:45 PM  Permalink

Nowadays the Media is trying to mislead people by saying that the ball is in Governor's court, its Governor's decision etc..

It sounds like, as if Governor can ignore the claim of majority of MLA's, and can personally decide to make his cook/driver/peon as the next Chief Minister. Isn't it ridiculous ?

Its a trick by Congress, which have influenced the Media to survive & play its dirty tricks.

Supreme Court has made it so clear so many times that the majority of a govt can be proved only in the Assembly. Governor has no business in deciding whom to make Chief Minister, or deciding the validity of a govt. Governor just has to call the leader of largest party or coalition to form govt. That's all.

Best Way of keeping BJP Out
by A Singh on Oct 29, 2007 04:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The best way of keeping BJP out of contention for ever, is to let it govern for some time. It happened at the Center. It will happen again.

Inspite of parading the MLA the governor chose to call the cong...shame on the governor & congress. Congress is interested in ruling than in the spirit of democracy. Though the drama that happened between JD(S), Cong & BJP has created a new low for democracy

Governor should act
by SP on Oct 29, 2007 04:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Governor should not approve the request of these opportunist politician. He should now act properly and fresh election is the only solution in Karnataka. Let the people decide who should be in power, it is either Congress, JD or BJP or any party. Because the BJP and JD has cheated the people of Karnataka by horse-trading and their own political agendas. The old man Gowda should better quit politics and go to Himalayas for rest of his life so that his soul will get Santhi after death , because he is the dirty face of cheap politics. He wants power. First he betrayed Congress, then he betrayed BJP by not supporting them, now again he is ready to support BJP. What a strange decision? BJP, if they have little morale of politics, they should not accept the offer of Gowda, because he may again withdrawn the support.
