comrades destroyed WEST BENGAL & Mamta adding fuel to accelerate same
by rachita bholowalia on Oct 29, 2007 05:02 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

yes WB as on date is a total collapsed state and their led UNIONS are a black spot on all INSTITUTIONS.i remember my old days that even for a quality pin or nail one had to rush to WB
the progress was not due to bengalis alone but
people from other states too established business activities in Howrah Sodhpur Calcutta Shamnagar Kalyani Sealdah Burdwan etc.the ego of benglies aided by their slavery culture brought communists to WB and today it is a total
destroyed state.SOMda conflicts with judiciary
he wants to remain speaker but his party nails central govt. on nuclear deal.now they r on move
to destroy Kerala.
above all if WB want to revive,Mamtadi would not
allow same since it is again individuality of being bengali playing its damaging role.she has
been twisting every issue with help of every
twisted issue--now Rizwanur' case--mind it all parents oppose such type of marriages initially and sometimes pressure tactics r applied and
parents have a right to do so--now it is a murder or suicide-let CBI confirm it.every love story had the saddest end--HEER RANJHA SASSIPUNU
SONI MAHIWAL SHEERI FARHAAD AND MANY OTHERS and there is justification for Mamtadi to link Rizwanur case with Nandigram--lalit kumar

CPI (M) in West Bengal
by PKS Sarin on Oct 29, 2007 04:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What Dinesh Trivedi has said is essentially correct to the letter . The CPI (M) have been winning elections and ruling West Bengal by means of organised political terror. The last free and fair election in West Bengal was held in july 1977 when they tasted power for the first time . But the CPI (M) has been steeply declining as they have almost totally alienated people of all sections . If the opposition in West Bengal build a common anti-left platform CPI (M) will horribly lose election even without president's rule . For all their bluster and rhetoric it must be remembered that CPI (M) could win 235 seats in West Bengal last time simply because of the split in anti-left vote between Congress and Trinamool . Even if a plain addition is done between Congress and Trinamool votes CPI (M) loses at least 125 seats , so it can be well imagined what might have happened , had the two parties had gone for a simple seat adjustment . But time is running out for CPI (M) now and it will be definitely out of power soon . Unfortunately its sure and certain that the fall of CPI (M) from power will be immediately and instantaneously followed by the most horrendous statewide political violence and reprisals against it cadres and leaders for their accumulated sins over three decades and massive peoples rage against them. History of West Bengal will have to be written in blood.

"The last free and fair election in West Bengal was held in july 1977" - with all due respect, how did u know sir? how then at all the exit polls and all poll surveys it shows the left as the winner? Do you know about last assembly elections in the state with unprecedented security, with thousands of paramilitary jawans posted, and elections held in five phases. Not a single violent incident, not a single false voting case was reported. Everyone could excercise their right freely. Even the opposition could not cite any wrongs! (until results were declared). And the left won with thumping majority.

exactly. I would be very happy if we had an alternative. I know cpm had ruined bengal in many ways. but now that the CM is trying revive that state (which is why many of us could return to bengal with good jobs), didi would leave no stones unturned to spoil the story. They are projecting west bengal as an extrapolation of nandigram and trying to sell the story that everyone lives in fear here!

see the report below....

"Human security

If human development is defined as a process of widening the range of people%u2019s choices, human security means that people can exercise these choices safely and freely and with some confidence that today%u2019s opportunities will not be totally lost tomorrow. The crime situation in West Bengal has always been better in comparison to most other states in India, and it also seems to have been improving over time. Not only was the rate of cognisable crime (relative to population) in West Bengal less than half the national average, it was almost one-fourth of the crime rate in the worst region, Delhi, and not very much higher than the best performing region, Lakshadweep. In terms of rank, West Bengal had the fourth lowest crime rate among all 32 of the states and Union territories in the country. Furthermore, the number of cognisable crimes in West Bengal actually decreased over the period 1997-2001, which is in marked contrast to most of the major states. The rate of violent crimes in West Bengal was 13.4 per lakh population

Left is a partner with UPA, Centre will keep mum, let hundred of people die. Politicians have lost sensitivity, like British Raj.They are bothered only for their seat and money.
