i don't understand the atitude of few mind set writers/politician who are always active during the election to raise the issue of voilance in Gujarat the live example is 2004 General election. The biase writers/politicians are always want to create rift in the sociate otherswise they should work for peace in the society. India has a long history of anti shik, anti dalit, anti muslime and anti reservation vloilances in the past. we must try to forget pass and work for future.

You are truly thinking like a Con gressman. I know idealists are not liked nowadays. I have heard many BJP/RSS wallahs also that BJP coming into power did not enable them to fill their pockets as the Con gress wallahs had done right from independence. Vajpayee was too much of an idealist. When the Petrol Pump scam broke out, he cancelled all the allotments. Had a Con gress PM been there, he or she would have ordered an enquiry by a retired Judge or taken any such devious means to distract the people's attention from the matter in the heat of the moment and got a pliant man to prepare a favourable report later on.

Be it Godhra or post Godhra, we thought that the damage was loss of life and property but what we are realising now is that it was minor loss.
The biggest casuality is our pride and loss of face all over the world. The foundation of democracy has been shaken and India is now being criticised on various international forum for not combating communalism.
Political parties and those individuals who were largely responsible for this state of affair have no regret and in fact have emboldened themselves to the extent that they are bent upon to viciate the atmosphere once again on the occassion of forthcoming election.
The Tahelka expose and now the effort to distribute CDs for inciting communal passion will lead to rise in communal passion and may be killng of more innocent. End result may be that Communal outfits will gain some seats and retain power in Gujrat.But what a cost we will pay for it.
We must think and seriously debate whether a state government is important or the pride of India is to be saved. The pride of India is being the largest secular democracy of the world.
This is the crucial moment for India and the IZZAT of India is in the hands of people of Gujrat.
I am confident that the people of Gujrat who have lead great movements that destablised and are successful businessmen all over the world would choose to save the pride of the country and not let down us by becoming a part of the communal agenda of any individual or any political party.

Religion is to make one more social and more human. Religion never taught to do crimes. and mind it crimes are always crimes. as i earlier said i cannot justify my mistake by virtue of mistakes of others. What you have stated in above post is all examples of Political results. you must keep in mind that politics and religion are very different entities. where religion teaches good politics disobey it. Politics is just like a SEWA but do you have any leader doing just SEWA in any political party. i have not found. until we people keep to mix religion and politics we will have such incidents. Politicians took advantage of those religious sentiments. leave religion crime everything aside. What state governments did when INDIA WON T20 WC. they thrown money like anything because they know people love cricket and this is the most appropriate idea to be in news. did they gave other players of other games such respect. never mix up politics with religion. if this is done done we will be doomed in the long run. the result is already showing a bit here and there. indian, personally i feel, we should have a two-party system like in USA. Left or right, congress or democracts, east ot west. all regional parties should be asked to merge with, based on their set policies to any one of the two. vote bank in the name of religion, like the one pursued by bjp should be stopped forthwith. this is the only we can come out as a real democratic india.
