Congressi wallahs had the opportunity to dissolve the assembly and order fresh poll. However, keeping in with the glorious congress tradition, the assembly was kept in suspension hoping to do some hera-pheri and buy JDs members. Sensing that, JDs had no choice but to support "communal" BJP.
This incident has again exposed the weakness of chest thumping secular ( other word for anti-Hindu) parties. All of them are fighting for the same share of minority votes leaving the field open for BJP and NDA members. Having said that it is questionable if NDA can capitalize on this advantage. BJP can not even project a young leader. The ideological driven are as exciting as baigan ka sabji and the ones who are smart do not pass the RSS litmus test. This is what happens when ideology trumps common sense.

Stooping to the lowest level of politics!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Oct 27, 2007 09:02 PM  Permalink

What can one say: Is it a case sour grapes, because JD(S) decided to party with BJP instead of the Congress party? Or, is it that the Congress party has become so clean with Sonia Gandhi's presidency of the party, that this image is used to tarnish all others. Has anyone wondered how a mirror is made; and what is behind the shining surface? Suffice it to say that it is not that clean and opportunistic politics is a set example of annuling or shelving the 123 treaty.

When Congress talks about values, ethics, rule of law and corruption, is like a Prostitute preaching
virtue of Virginity.

Congress is ''god knows what''
by sarfarosh on Oct 27, 2007 08:51 PM  Permalink

All standards are broken and they are talking about ethics. Check what happened in GOA and Jharkand. The attempt in Bihar for laloo was enlightening and proved that they are honest to the core. In the north east they are doing a "Honest" work. Looks like Vatican is having its goal achieved. Now Snia is smiling at China as it is the only way the commies can be silenced and the power in India retained.

China is a venomous snake. Already arunachal pradesh is gone. Its in India only in our maps. Nehru began the move and Sonia is continuing it - Making India smaller.
So the smiles will go away soon. Like the one Nehru had.
