Because you don't understand the very nature of cancer. Cancer, unlike other diseases, is a by-product of the ongoing changes in the DNA of all living things. The cost of evolution, is cancer. When the DNA alters, some mutations are safe or beneficial, other mutations, cause tumours and some others, malignant tumours (cancer).

Cancer awareness

I am working for NGO in cancer awareness and I know importance of early detection. However the cancer early detection facilities are non existence or not functioning effectively in govt. hospitals and distrist levels. The early detection facility and programme must be improved. Its also tendency in Indian patient- due to societal factors - not to disclose the disease- cancer.

Very true. It is the Govt which needs to take steps to improve the facilities and awareness. With over 700 million living just above or under poverty, it is very difficult to do the needed tests in a private care. And those 700 million are not as fortunate to go abroad or do the treatment locally as they don't have the so called incurable disease called "Money". The doctors need the money first before they would work on a patient unlike in the US where they are suppose to treat the patient reagrdless of whether they have money or not.

Nowadays the medical expenses are climbing up at a very higher rate that the rate at which people's life is improving.
