Hi Friends, I myself had blood cancer 4 years back but with right medication at the critical time, lots of family and friends positive attitude and most importantly prayers worked for me and I cme out of it in just 1 year. Most important is family's role in handling a cancer patient, they need to ensure the patienet is always sorrounded with positive attitue, encouraging thoughts and constant counselling as due to the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation and in the pain many patients give up!!! Thats' the key, never allow them to give up, keep constantly holding them up in prayers and encouraging actions and thoughts. Anita Seth

How do you change negative thoughts or prevent such thoughts? Sometimes these thoughts do cross you mind
I am working for NGO in cancer awareness and I know importance of early detection. However the cancer early detection facilities are non existence or not functioning effectively in govt. hospitals and distrist levels. The early detection facility and programme must be improved. Its also tendency in Indian patient- due to societal factors - not to disclose the disease- cancer. -----------WiFi BOLLYWOOD . COM

Dear Jeannie, you are so true. I lost my grandmother last year. She was suffering from breast cancer. While writing this, my eyes are wet. We both are very close to each other. Early detection of cancer could have saved my grandma's life. Its all about how positive you and your whole family take your cancer. All family member should be very supportive.
