You are right. It is a cheap publicity by Sonia Congress party to showcase Rahul Gandhi Khan. Former PM Late Narasingha Rao was dead against Nehru-Rajiv family rule in Congress party however, some Sonia loyalists (like Sitaram Kesri) left no stone unturned to malign him. Though Congress Party talks of democracy, there is no democracy in the party itself. If they believe in democracy, then every two years a new party president should have be chosen - not limited to sonia, rajiv, rahul etc.
I would not be surprised at If joseph is next MLA MP or a post holder in the congress. He has learnt how to lick the a** of the bloody italian. Mark my word, India would be slave country in 5 years from now.

Sonia used Ahmed patel to consolidate her position in Congress committees. Once she learned thru Oscars the loopholes to be used to rule this country, she became strong and elminated Ahmedbhai. Then she slowly dhonied her son in to gen.secretaryship of the party that controls the country.
Now it is like a Bania, teaching his son how to do business. And Industrialist how to raise factories and as a Tigress teaching her cub how to make a kill. Lol ! SEE HOW SHE TOOK HIM TO CHINA, LEARNING AND MAKING INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS. ANYBODY CAN BE USEFUL IN HARDTIMES. POOR MMS, PATIL,ARJUN,PC etc .
