In 1984 and 1988 people of only one side were killed and the otherside not a single person was hurt or killed, either by other side or by Cops.
In Gujarat at least, 250 people died because of the Govt of Gujarat's direct orders to the cops to shoot at sight.

The point is NOT to justify the Gujarat riots but to bring the truth out. And the truth is that is a genocide. If people were to follow your suggestions the world would be plunged into a never ending war where people fight for revenge with no end in sight.

I fail to understand what is so surprising about the Tehelka revelations. The involvement of Modi & Co in the Gujarat massacre is quite obvious. Tehelka is trying to make money in the eve of elections. Also it can further create social tensions.
