This is something which we already seen in past- the killing of innocents by terrorists from Sikhs.
As per my understanding, these will be the results of this "sting":
1. Congress will be more bitten from this sting, than Modi.
You can see the muted response of congress, specially in Gujarat.
2. Modi's stature will rise even further, who will be seen as a victim of psuedo propaganda.
Modi was NOT using Godhra rhetoric to begin with, but he will do the needful rant in next few days.
3. Mainly, CPIM will use this to portray how close they are with "muslim cause". They are in competition with Congress for Muslim Vote in WB, and Kerala.
4. Biggest victim of this types of one sided propaganda will be: social tolerance.
Hindus now rightly think, they will get no justice from psuedos, specially english press.
As onslaught of muslims increase, hindus will take matter in their hands. in more frequently than ever before.

You just remember 3000 sikhs who were innocent. What about the lakhs of Hindu who were slaughtered by Sikhs in demand for Khalistan. Indira Gandhi, as a PM of India, did her job to stop terrorism. What else treatment you expect her to give to the murderers of lakhs of Hindus. Every Sikh now remember only Blue Star and 84 riotsd but no one even mention about lakhs of Hindus who were slaughtered by sikhs and which was the main cause of these operation and riots.
Without Godhra, no point in talking about post-Godhra.
Five years after Godhra, there is a need for an introspection---by the Muslims and the secular elite of the brutality of those responsible for Godhra and by the Hindus and the Administration of how the subsequent riots were handled. If instead of doing so, we continue the national pastime of scoring points against one another, more acts of jihadi terrorism and more incidents of communal violence are waiting to happen.
