Neither congress nor left are taking the pain to explain the reasons of their respective stands to the public. An open depate on national television would have made everything clear to the public and the party which is able to convince the people in a better way would have got the public support and the otehr pary would have been forced to shut its mouth.
Totally Agreed, These so called Comarades seems to be making obstacle in India's Growth and Progress with their narrow minded thinkings and cheap Politics..this U turn by India is definately going to put wrong impression about our commitments to the world community
Nuclear or not, No body in World takes India seriously In any situation All India says is WE ARE WATCHING THE SITUATION carefully, This is only our foreign policy statement for everything.
Een though I dislike the left, I think they are doing a fine job keeping this treaty at bay. how can one expect US to give india so many benefits without even getting anything back. Letting them inspect our military and nuclear installation is a clear breach of our privacy. If we can survive and do well without the US support for the first six decades of our freedom we can do it even more from now on. It's the US which needs us and not the otherway round. Although i do agree that the PM should have understood the feelings of his allies and then he should have taken the Apt decesion and as for the PM..well he is a nice guy..a very nice guy, infact he is nothing but nice.

Guess you do not face the brunt of electricity cut, if you did you would not be talking of India doing well in the last 6 decades. We are sliding into the darkness (literaly) on a daily basis, unless we have a sustainable energy source (read also nuclear energy), it won't be long for our so called economic boom to go bust

U are not well informed...1)it's not US but IAEA ( International Atomic Energy Agency) which is going to inspect safegards. and they are NOT going to inspect facilities which are in military command..we are talking about only civil nuclear facilities so there is "breach of our privacy"
2) India needs Civilian Energy for it growth and economy, as to increase productivity, it's not correct to say that US came to us for this, even Opposite might not be the case..it's just for Mutual Interests

Good one JK.... Biggezt problem with our people is that we all like to jump to conclusions without knowing the full facts... I also saw people writing that India is declining etc... etc... Guys get your numbers correct before commenting!... I live in Singapore & there is a full page article that comes daily about India & it's booming economy... For people who say India is declining... Do you know the GDP growth for last 5 years... If not then, SHUT UP... I am proud of India & will be settling back in 2 years time once my project here is complete....

Only devleoped state in India..is kerala interms of education and medical facilities..and that is nothing to do with Gov..becos of people.. You may noticed that most of ranking kerala on top..Industry we are lagging we also don't like so many industries becos we don't ahev any waste land to giev free for any industry:)..
