Mr Karuna is not the whole sole rep of Tamilians in particular to followers of MuthuRamlingaThevar, a hardcore Tamil leader.This population clubbed with Vanniars form 45% of TN.Mr KARUNA does not have suppport from majorities.The way in which he is aggressive(like Old VEERANAM,COOVAM...BTW what is the status of those projects today?)shows that there is a heavy deal!All Tamils are not the supporters of RAM-SETHU through this route, as there are other viable alternate routes.

DMK has done innovations in corruption in those days too, when our great Kamaraj was in power.Deal may be common today, but for the DMK it is in their blood.YOu do not seem to know about PMK very well, it seems!FYI, Lord RAM is a Tsatriya & Ravana is a Brahman!WE should always support truth, whether it is uttered by North or south Indians!Perhaps U may not know how Great Kamraj was abused by DMK,when he was a COMMAND of ALL India Congress!Entire Tanjore district has almost gone for dogs (in agriculture), all becz of them!

Is any more Sita in Lanka? Why does Ravana has to take sitas or gitas from here. Nowadays Ravanas come here by small boats and get Indian passport by paying petty amount to passport officers and police. Ravana's are enjoying Indian citizenship and also getting married to Gitas and Sitas
There is no one to entertain swamy and he is fed up, frustrated and wants to draw the attention of the public.That is why he is involved in such type of Gimmicks. A Harward university professor in Economics should know the economic viability of the project and contest the it according to that. Instead he is opposing the project on religious grounds which is quite funny. Now the court says it can not interfere because it did not set up the commitee, then it should have said it can not interfere in a project taken up after much research and project studies by experts in the relevant fields. Unnecessarily it sought the opinion of the ASI there by kindling the religious faith of certain community. Rediff was the real beneficiary as it utilised the opportunity to make the rediff users to use the site for a maximum period, the rediff users used the opportunity to scold and abuse Tamilians in General and Mr. Karunanidhi in particular. The kind of abuses heaped on Tamilians and Karunanidhi has made even his opponents to support him.

Iam Hindu and I do not like Hinduism being abused by anyone either by Karunanidhi or by anyone. You dont get my gist if Karunanidhi made these ramrks he gets chastisised thaths it. But most people used that to vent their anti Tamil feelings. Ia makink observation as to why is did not cause much ripple in Tamil Nadu compared to North India . I am aware many Tamilians are Vaishnavites and many North Indians are Saivites. But North India is predominantly Vaishnavite and Tamil Hindus are predominantly Saivite so it impacts on them differently. Every one knows that Tamil Nadu is a bastian of Hindusim. Mostly dravid Tamilians worship gods which are converted from Jains. Eg: thiruvalluvar(Jain saint very popular in dravid history before hindu came in south india), Vardaperumal(vardhman swamy),Thrilognathar perumal (thirthankar), Chandramouliswar (chandraprabhu), Venkateshwara(Neminath), Siva( Lord adinath, or Arugar swamy),Meenakshi(padmavati), Kamakshi(padmavati), Nagarajar Perumal(Parsvanath). These are real historical facts will not really go well with Aryan dominated history. Dravidian temples are today property of Brahmins and Hindus.
If cover from these gods are removed only jain gods will be discovered. jain history is 5000 years old and it was very popular with dravidians.

You are absolutely wrong Mr.manikandan. North Indians have in-built superiority complex as the western whites have against coloured. Most of the north Indians do not even know that there are four different states and four different languages spoken in South India. They generally call all south Indians as madrasis and their language as madrasi. When we got independence, all agreed for a three language formula all over India. But afterwards the north Indian leaders conspired and declared Hindi as the national Language.By this the south indians were forced to learn 3 languages but north indians refused to study any south indian language as third in their schools. Over that they insulted us saying that we are not Indians if we do not learn Hindi. So it is fully justified to oppose Hindi in schools because it was an issue of self respect. Even then Dravidian parties did not close down the Dakshin Bharath Hindi prachar Sabha hence whoever wanted to learn Hindi privately were not stopped. That's how I learnt hindi. So opposing Hindi was for self respect. Hinduism is great but are Hindus great ? No. Read the story of Ambedkar to understand how even such highly educated lower caste person was abused by the so called higher caste hindus. once I read, after Independence SC voter of then Prime Minister charan singh have never voted..i.e.,never allowed by the Jhats of that constituency, such was the plight of lower class people. This is what the discussion I really want the so called northies to reply. Waiting for responses my fellow indians from north....
Also I want to add some points to the discussion. Check with any of your north indian friends about the culture, language, food, etc about southies, I bet none of them know. What they want is to a small road side shop to severe punjabi thaali and roti, subzi, etc in tamil nadu or andhra, if not, they start abusing that southies dont respect their culture, their food and finally hindi.
One of my northie friend asked me why none participated from dravidian states during indian independence struggle. See, we learn about fighters from punjab, from haryana, UP, bengal, but what about other dravidian states. Did any of the northies know about south indian people who fought for freedom? Thank god godse who killed Gandhi was not from south, otherwise this venjon against tamils would have started long back in 1948 like what they are now blaming for rajiv gandhi. Why you guys not blame the state who killed mk gandhi or indira gandhi?

If you give Sita to Karunanidhi, he will surrender, if not Sita, even kushboo is fine. There will be two temples in Chennai- Sita temple and Khusboo temple. Mr. Ram is poojari of temple. Karunanidhi will worship in black glasses.
