why we keep sleeping
by ss on Oct 24, 2007 10:22 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why were we sleeping for 60 years? Govt. has spent enormous money on scientists. These people have let us down. APJ and others should have done more. There is no tool that can measure research time estimates. On one hand he says, a lot of research is required and other hand gives some time estimate. I doubt his estimate, it should be 4 times whatever he estimates.

Ask your son why he is not able to get first place, though you are spending lots of money on his education. If you don't have a son then ask yourself why you waste your fathers money.

Bhuka pet me research nahi hota hai. Our scientist live in the costliest city of India but with pittance to survive. After the euphemism disappear everybody is serching for exit. Only few hypocrats are happy as they love to live in fools paradise. If sixth pay commission fails to realise this it is better to close every thing.

Some Media always show their credibility. Some wait for George Bush's Money order.
Now-a-days some media indirectly say, Left do a good job, which was always saying Left goes to Sonia and Manmohan Singh to take lunch and coming back without any assurance on their concerns. A soon as money order reaches, they will start to highlight Congress and BJP are good.

We have enough uranium rserves to start a Fast Breeder Reactor. We are not totally devoid of uranium. Self reliance is the most ideal policy.

I don't know why kalam keeps rotating around nuke deal. I know all nuke scientists are biased against US. Even Kalam is a sort of thief for US.
He should speak his mind openly and clearly on nuke deal or better be shut.

Why is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh so angry? He couldn't find the teacher who taught Mathematics to the Communists. Media says they come to me to take lunch. Every time they come with calculation that how can make 20,000 MW, 40,000 MW, 60,000 MW.

India should seek nuke self-reliance through thorium: Kalam
by NILANJAN SENGUPTA on Oct 24, 2007 10:12 AM  Permalink

Yes. That should be the attitude of the policy makers. They should not run for outdated technologies from other countries - not even US. Instead more thrust to be given on developing indigenous technologies.

We have lot of coal reserve and need not have to instal Nuclear reactors right now to generate power.
