N deal -communists and UPA
by ved prakash on Oct 23, 2007 02:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

there seems to be some confusion about the role of communists and UPA
1.communists always prefer aweak central ech time earlier when we had weak PMs they were very eager to extend support be it Indira Gandhi in late 60s and VP SIngh,Charan Singh,Chandrasekhar etc
2.That communist have agenda to suit local requirements in West Bengal, Kerala,Tripura it is always different from what they have in New Delhi.
3.Congress has long overlived politics of manipulation be it internal or external. To stick to power they have played all kinds of imposible games lestyou forget the VPsingh Govt fell and Charan singh too fell by the same startegy, they even didn't allow people likeYB Chavan,Morarji,Beeju Patnaik NDTiwari Bahuguna SHarad Pawar (the list is endless)etc to make foot hold.
4.Congress should take it easy bcoz that was the game they played in UP and Bihar
5.The people of India have been destined to suffer till Communist have as many fronts and parties as the number of old and sick politicaians Please remember and pay respects to harkishen singh surjit's soul, aman who never won any elections had nobase but was significant in puttind dummise like devegowda and IKgujral
We the people of India have got to understand the follies of these people if we wish to develop and grow,by rejecting hollow and pseudo leaders who only wish to wield the batons of power and do not want the nation to prosper.May we get the strenth to understand with clarity and do the best, throw these men in dust

Why is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh so angry? He couldn't find the teacher who taught Mathematics to the Communists. Media says they come to me to take lunch. Every time they come with calculation that how can make 20,000 MW, 40,000 MW, 60,000 MW.

Analysis: The real Left
by babu on Oct 23, 2007 02:09 PM  Permalink

Left is now successful for delaying the N-deal.
Now it is a time for debate real issues in Parliament.
Communist Party wanted to avoid debates on major issues.
Major Issues in India.
1) How many jobs Communist Party has created for poor since they are in power in last 30 years.
2)How many poor become rich in West Bengal & Kerala.
3)How many industries closed after commies comes in power.
4)How much money is wasted after every agitation by communist.
etc....etc....etc.....

I talked with left party activist. he views congress as purely feudal dynastic party. feudal to retain power only makes false promises and benefit himself and close family retainers. when workers demand the rise of salary he says - wait one month, one year etc, we will see to this demand. time pass nothing change.
BJP is capitalist party. bjp leader says - do this work, i pay only this, not agreed, get out - there is a queue of unemployed waiting for their turn.
from outside capitalists and landlords may be nice but inside they are ruthless exploiters.
we did not discuss nuclear deal, but he remarked he many times organised demonstration against Bush imperialist policies with such people as Medha Patkar.
he probably sees supporters of the deal as new Mir Zafars ever ready to strike a deal with East India companies.

Work! Work! Work! for people of India.
by Sahadevan KK on Oct 23, 2007 01:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Main political parties of India, Congress and BJP have been imposing American globalization on Indian people for last 15 years. Both of the parties claim the economic policy has 'human face'. The truth is that nobody sees any 'dog face' even. Unemployment, poverty and price rise etc. are sky-rocketing. People of India fears now, India may be another American base after Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Israel, South Korea, Iraq, Kuwait etc. The Left parties were firmly against the India-U.S. nuclear deal and would not allow India to be a junior partner of the United States. U.S.S. Nimitz, the American aircraft-carrier, which was instrumental in killing so many innocent people in Iraq, was anchored in the Indian waters earlier.

Mr Sahadevan, will you please explain how by signing the same deal in inferior condition China lost their National pride, contrary to that China lifted their industrial and economic
growth many fold. The problem with people like you as also Mr Bardhan(his son has settled down
in USA) is to get best for yourself ignoring your ideology but see China growing but not India becouse that will undermine China's strength. You all are shame to the country.Only the blind believes that Dr Manmohan Singh will
barter National interest. He is a non currupt,
honest and highly educated person.WE understand
the motive of Left for whom China is more important than India but we are ashemed of BJP.
This BJP started the N-deal but failed to come to conclusion becouse they lost the election but to day they are against the deal becouse the honour will go to UPA govt.India's development will have a great set back if this
deal is not implimented.LET GOD SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM THE COMMUNIST.

Hear Hear. I agree. I am highly disappointed with BJP as well. This is a deal which BJP would have supported all out had they been in government but now they are in opposition, they seem to have made it a policy to oppose everything, whether good or bad for teh country.

Mid term Election - due...
by bharat on Oct 23, 2007 12:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Similar to the observation of Sheela, UPA and Left push this Govt until Gujarat election. PM Mr. Singh credibility touched the ground within last few weeks. As Jetmalini Advised he would 've resigined to keep his gentleman figure. Congress among Mr. Singh now known as the most power hungry party with out any vision.
Actually MR. Singh missed the chance to controll Left leaders. If he stood on his first stand dared the Left to withdraw support, He can put Left in the same situation which he is in now.'Left-the most power gready Politician in India' would cry for him to save their face any how. In fact they know in an election they will lose their most of the MPs, In Kerala they may win one or two, in Bengal if the election commission take steps to do free and fair election Left won't get 10 MPs. Other words Congress is the only benificier when Left lose if they can win 54 MPs directly from left.
People of India looking for development and good jobs and better living conditions. All states are developing very fast left ruling states are still 25 years backward in all spetrum of development. Just with this issue congress can defeat Left if they united with the other oppositions Just for the sake of our country to kick out dictators traitors and anemies of development.
Since Indipendance history of Left they stand to oppose any congress policy. Now just to enjoys power they joins hand with congress with out any solid reason without any shame to 54 MPs of them came defeated c
