'Spin Around' Politics
Mamta Banerjee could not get a space for her footsteps in West Bengal. She left NDA for UPA, there is a hindrance because George Bush's money order is late.
Shiv Sena was a frontrunner of Nuclear Deal; now says, no to deal. The same track Sangh Parivar kept in the feedom fighting also.
Pravin Togadia is ready to support Narendra Modi.

Some Media always show their credibility. Some wait for George Bush's Money order.
Now-a-days some media indirectly say, Left do a good job, which was always saying Left goes to Sonia and Manmohan Singh to take lunch and coming back without any assurance on their concerns. A soon as money order reaches, they will start to highlight Congress and BJP are good.

Would you also like some money orders from George Bush? Do you remember that the KGB had financed all our great communist leaders?

Congress Vs the Communists
by Vinaya Das on Oct 24, 2007 09:33 AM  Permalink

The Congress should show some courage and call the bluff of the commies by threatening to resign and go for fresh elections if the commies continue with their anti national activity of trying to destasbilise the Govt for the sake of their anti US mania. That will also expose the BJP who put power before national interest. The worst that can happen is that the Congress will lose the election and the BJP will come back with the help of its motley crowd of small parties. The communists will be cut to their size and the BJP will be exposed and the Congress will come back stronger than now. That is the scene but will the Congress bite the bullet? Doubtful, they and their allies are too addicted to power to think of long term national good.

by babu on Oct 24, 2007 08:44 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Left is now successful for delaying the N-deal.
Now it is a time for debate real issues in Parliament.
Communist Party wanted to avoid debates on major issues.
Major Issues in India.
1) How many jobs Communist Party has created for poor since they are in power in last 30 years.
2)How many poor become rich in West Bengal & Kerala.
3)How many industries closed after commies comes in power.
4)How much money is wasted after every agitation by communist.
etc....etc....etc.....

Perhaps the Left can also help us by naming a single country in this wide world that has built a successful economy based on Marxism-Leninism. The Soviet Union collapsed in bankruptcy. China abandoned communism as soon as Mao died. The only communist countries left are North Korea (a basket case) and Cuba (surviving on euro and dollar prostitution).

In India Communists are like parasites. They thrive on the labour of others.

Analysis: The real deal on the N-deal
by on Oct 24, 2007 01:00 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In this mordern world every individual is profit centre and so MR.Karant and his coterie are no different.their objections are primarily for their political mileage and myopic gains and not on any other ground so rightly said in this editoriland I quote:

"Yes, there might be the occasional grandstanding in public view in the coming weeks. Yes, the two sides may naturally strive to extract whatever political mileage they can. But isn't that what "bourgeois politics" is all about?

MR.Singh will have the last laugh after these fools like Karant realise that they have only exposed their ignorance by the objections raised and have not contributed in any mesure to the good of the nation. Its after all petty politic played by mediocres who dont have the intellegence and the staesmenship to grasp the implications of a deal that is held under duress.
The global forces of demand and supply of money power and its benefits will definitely overwhelmly compel these minor irritants to dispel their facade and embolden the PM to carry on undetered in the path of progress as envisaged by him. This is crusuade started by MR Mammohan in !990 and we are alraedying realising the fruits of his efforts.Mr.Singh has realised that its patience that pays and so he has to prove that inspites of all the odds staked against him,yet he rises above all these impolitic personalities to realise his vision of a strong economy ,thr' forebearance,as is evident in the rising rupee against the dollar.

I really hope you are right in your conjecture of MMS somehow overcoming Left "ally" opposition to the deal. I really do.

Call me a pessimist but you know what I get this weired feeling that MMS has morphed into a self-serving Indian pol just like Lallu or Pawar and will use the next few weeks as the occasion to ceremonially bury the deal and continue as the PM for rest of the term (of course Karat and Sonia permitting), national interest be damned.

Nuclear Deal
by Madhav Deshval on Oct 24, 2007 12:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It seems that, PM Manmohan Singh and his allies are in hurry to attach India as 51st state of USA. Mr. Singh and his cronies, probably have forgotten that India attained freedom after long fight of almost over 100 years and it has cost lot of blood and lives of many generations. Freedom and Soverignity does not come free Mr. Singh. Do not mortgage that soverignity to this BANKRUPTC COUNTRY called USA. We do not want prosperity by aligning with this bankrupt thug, who thinks he is uncrowned king of the world and has right to attack anyone and anywhere. Who thinks, who has right to explot any country anywhere in the world, on the name of free trade.

And, do not make drama of being hurt. You have failed to understand the heart of India. So, if you can not forget your own failure, just resign graciously. BUT NEVER NEVER NEVER damage our soverignity. LONG LIVE INDIA.

M. Deshval

Pranav, you are a true dick of the kind you find between the legs. Your little brain is filled with commie agenda and it ends there. For some reason, Dicks like yourself fail to understand that in a unipolar world it helps to have a friend who is right on top. We are not a country like the muslimstans who can offer only terror to the world. With such countries one can only use them to what ever ends they offer. In the case of India we are a strong and a promising economy with a fairly credible democratic system. We are a natural friend of the US, of the western kind. It makes no sense to keep suckking a dead agenda and making the country suffer , but unfortunately its difficult to drive it into the "heads" of dicks like yourself.

I am not interested in explaining this to you. I did rather crush and elliminate people selfish like yourself. F.U.

I doubt if MMS can claim himself a follower of gurus like Guru Govind Singhji. Guru Govind had the guts to stand up to the tyranny and embrace self-sacrifice over dishonour. MMS is no follower of Guru Govind.

China makes incursions into India
10/23/2007 5:35:12 PM

The age-old contentious issue of border incursion by China into India has cropped up once again. In a startling revelation, the Chief of the ITBP (Indian Tibetan Border Police) has confirmed to TIMES NOW that the Chinese Army has made around 140 incursions into the Indian territory across the Line of Actual Control in the past one year alone.

TIMES NOW has brought the issue of incursion by Chinese Army into the forefront time and again. Despite the Indian government's denial on the incursion issue, TIMES NOW had reported instances of incursions by the Chinese Army into India in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.

Just a few weeks back, TIMES NOW had also reported that the Chinese Army had urged the Indian Army to vacate its bunkers in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh claiming that the bunkers were on Chinese soil. The Indian and Chinese government share a disputed border and are currently engaged in talks to resolve the dispute. Though there has been considerable talk of resolving border disputes, both the countries have avoided talking on the issue publicily. The issue is likely to come up for discussion on Union External Affairs Minister -- Pranab Mukherjee 's -- visit to China later in the week.

All of us including MMS forget that PVN Rao then PM tookcare of the political management of 1991 economic reforms and credit shd therefore go to PVN and not to MMS. Obviously present political manager ( UPA Cp Sonia) neither has the capability nor the sincerity to back up any national issue like deal or Ramsethu except her family. JUst because MMS entered the deal without taking people into confidence (MMS had all along was telling Parliament and Public " wait for the final draft before opinionating)and now he is blackmailing all the political class with take it or take my head after making the deal defacto. It is clear cheating of public by MMS .Then he cannot blame public if they see it wrong. Left right and centre are not favourable to the deal for their own easons. Overall if public do not accept it shd got to dust bin.

OPERATIONALISE THE COMRADES.
by damodaran mohan on Oct 23, 2007 04:07 PM  Permalink

I think the time has come for the people of the country to OPERATIONALISE OUR MORIBUND COMRADES. Generally Ram Jethmalani, though a renowned lawyer is not taken that seriously in politics. However his letter to PM and his commie bashing for a change seems very appropriate and to be taken seriously by all well meaning people of this country. On the other hand a respected and senior journalist on a TV channel was preaching PM to practice immoral politics just to cling to power and bury the Ndeal! Why sacrifice a govt. for a deal that is relevant to just 2% of people, he says ! What he implies is it wont fetch you votes ! Mr. Journalist , forget morality, given the present mutually destructive chemistry between the congress party and the LEFT , even if the DEAL is sacrificed , i bet there is no way the UPA-LEFT Govt. can proceed any further even an inch without more damage to govt. Further, Ram Jethmalani is absolutely right that this is the right opportunity for the congress party to go to people and is likely to do better than if it defers the election to 2009. LEFT , as per their culture expects the PM doing 9 to 5 office job of a BADA BABU as per instructions from KARAT & Co. from now onwards to 2009 elections ?
