India should partition J&K according to the demographic pattern of 1947 and then exchange Muslims of India for the remaining non-Muslims of both Pakistan and Bangladesh. That should have happened in 1947. This is natural after a partition of a country. A husband cannot stay with his wife after a divorce; but that is exactly the Muslims have done. They got Pakistan but they are still in India. This is unjustified. Let us have an exchange of population and solve all the problem at a stroke. After that it is possible for India and Pakistan to be friendly, as Greece and Turkey are now friends after having the exchange of population after the First World War.
In this era of specialisation interdependence is the order of the day No one can benefit thr'isolation.The IT boon and boom has made it all the more relevent as the geographical boundaries are rendered more and more seamless so the globe is a level playing field with competetion and open source available on the web for free. As rightly said the economic,political and startegic compulsions will definitely unite all the players to reap the benefits of cost cutting and larger consumer base in the emerging markets to drive up the revenues. I think it ia already done. Only it is Saudi arabia which keeps on Funding Pakistan and Pakistan keeps on buying Arms from USA.
Also China keeps on giving / Arming pakistan as China does not want India to be compared with China.
In fact we have already gone past Pakistan in all respects, long ago.
We are in RaCE with China. Both USA & Russia recognise that. It is upto Pakistan & China to understand and it is upto Saudi to stop funding Pakistan.
During NDA time India went in a big way with Israel. That is what we need to strengthen to make Iran and Saudi understand that once India goes shopping ( Not begging like Pakistan). Than we have a huge economic might as well as Arms appetite, even as compared to China.

sad but true. Unfortunately Indian and Pakistani muslims look up to the Arabs when the Arabs look down upon us as inferior beings. Country always comes before religion. If religion comes first they are welcome to go to a muslim country, lets see how the Arabs treat them.
