giving a daughters hand is personal, we indians dont give our daughters away from our city....many cases...how do you accept a sheikh giving the hand of his daughter to you who is alien to his culture. By the way it is not islam which is stopping him from giving his daughters hand to you.But his tribal tradition is doing so....although islam prohibits division of society on tribal or caste basis.Please note you cannot marry a sheikhs daughter as you will end up becomeing a pauper within few years due to her spendings..:)not good for your health too.

QUESTION: you ask a hindu, he will say, Vishnu, jesus , Allah all are differnet ways to reach one allmighty. But you will never get much muslims who is ready to accept that and show respect for other relgiions.
ANSWER: Many People ask muslims, to reach GOD there are many ways and each one is independent to choose his own way. Then why Islam insists that Islam is the Only way to reach GOD.
I agree that there are a lot of Routes to reach a Destiny... Especially if the Route is long, there can be N number of routes to reach the destiny... For example all the Trains from Delhi to Chennai will pass thru Nagpur... There are a 1000 routes to reach Delhi from Chennai... YOu can go Via Mumbai, Assam, or even Afghanistan.. All these routes will lead to Delhi but the Irony is we have to seek the One Shortest Possible route that makes sense.... So Dont say that Moksha can be attained in many ways... Will you travel in a Train which goes to Delhi from Chennai via Assam ??? Indeed it will reach Delhi, but overall you will say it is a Wrong Route, even if it reaches Delhi you will surely call it a Wrong Route.. The shortest and reliable path to attain Moksha is ISLAM.... Beleive it or not... It is upto you...Islam makes Spirituality simple, you dont have to leave your family and meditate in Himalayas to understand GOD... By practising the ways of Mohammed (pbuh) you can attain Moksha by getting involved in Day today life also.... Islam propogates the consistent connection

I am very proud of what we Indians were 10 thousand years before even Christianity or islam was born. Abudant with knoweledge and information on all subjects which even the modern science is exploring.
but very much regret for the losses. with every generation we are losing the great values and slowly moving towards the things which we are criticising.
I wont be surprised, if after 2 generations sanskrit will be extinct along with other regional languages reaching a stage what sanskit is at present.

This is my experience which i want to share with you all readers.
It was during a visit to Mahim to meet one of my freinds living near Mahim Darga. It was during the Mushraff visit to India and Vajpayee was the PM. there were many who gathered with many of his friends from the neighbourhoods. Even during the conversation one had said "Our President will smash your PM" which clearly indicated his feeling of being a Paki irrespecive of holding a Indian National status.
Another friend of mine who is holding a respectable post in Congress stood up fuming with anger, saying VAjpayee may be from BJP, but He is now our PM, and if anybody from outside dare to even point finger he will be killed and buried in Worli Gutter.
Thats the spirit. When it comes to India, Who is a real india will always be INDIAN first.

" Which party you belong, because i can see even congress, shivsena, BJP all you are having conversation"?

hi gn... i hav a smilar experience... when i was 9 yrs old ( some 11 years back )my best frnd was a muslim .. we both frequently used to go to each others house.... one friday we both were playing (in his house ) and his father called him to get ready for some religious gathering ... and he called me to come as well so that we can continue the game after the mosque... as i was a kid his father didnt object to that... he gave me that hat kind of thing and we went to some place.... then the religious preacher he started of saying some thing on khoran and mohammad.. and in between he said "in our country pakistan..... " i wasnt sure whether i heard it correct so didnt object... later he kept on repeating that again and again for some 20-50 times... there r sooo many kids like me in that place .... and he was repeating it again and again... when i asked my frnd y is he sayin abt pakistan... he said just listen and forget...
i dont hav anything against muslims... i feel half the problem starts with retarded religious preachers like him..... there were some 4 speakers all of same league.... no wonder my frnd is fan of pakistan cricket team...
this incident gave me a indifferent attitude towards muslim for so long.... i dont blame muslims the prob is with certain preachers hu ignite young minds... 2-3 years back i hav seen that preacher again.. i dont think he changed a bit though i didnt here his pro-pakistan slogans...
