what makes Michael Jackson's brother "famous", Mr. sayeed? I fail to understand your logic. And just because some "celebs" are embracing Islam doesn't make it the true religion. Truth is often found in places devoid of the rich and famous.... maybe there's a lesson to learn there. Religion is mans 'creation' God never created religion. Islam is spreading terror (at least the modern version) and if thats what you think God gives... then that makes God the biggest terrorist of all times!!! And we think we're fortunate in not embracing a religion with "terror" as their god and lusting after wealth and sensuality. Don't generalise Muslims, Ms. Menon. Its right that everyone has to leave mother earth. But, what if someone tells you that reading Bagvad Gita or Bible or any other sacred text would make you immortal. If you accept this and start reading, then there is no reason why you cannot phantom certain people's action against others. They have been asked to do so to get salvation and be immortal.
What needs to be condemned is not the attacks, rather the thought that went into the attack and the masterminds of the attack. It is them who had a selfish motive.

Secularism is a failed concept. It is not possible for people of different faiths to live together. The crooked politicians will make everyone's life miserable with their divide and rule policies, whether they are Britishers or the even worse Indian politicians.
It is better that people of different faiths live in different geographical regions. A country must be dedicated to a particular religion only.

What do you mean by faith? If it is faith in Almighty or faith in Religious Text, there is nothing wrong in such people living together. Afterall, there are no two individuals who share exactly the same faith..The miscreants are not those people who live together. They are often ambassadors of power, who does not want people to live peacefully..This will continue even if there is no religion.. Power is always corrupt, and it recreates itself ...
India should learn a lesson from Pakistan.Everyone knows Pakistan is a Failed State made on the basis of Religion.India on the other Hand is a Thriving economy. You know why India is doin better b'coz it shuns extremism & terrorism while pakistan chose to take the path of extremism.Our Country was ruled by a secular & Nationalist parties which is responsible for making our Country Self Reliant.. If We indians also chose the path of Extremism & support terror based parties(RSS) like Pakistan did ,even we will become a Banana Republic like them..
