Mohammed came after christ. he was one of the earliers believers of christianity (which may or may not have been a true relegion). He somehow beleived God gave him the power to spread the relegion. He descended into the desert in the middle east and tried to convert the bedouins and nomads to this relegion. They had a different view of life. Immorality, wives, drink, smoke, slavery, trade etc. When he came preaching christianity, they couldn't accept it and drove him into hiding. As he as in hiding, Mohammed was so angry at God for testing him and vowed to do the opposite of what he wished. He swore that he would make his own relegion, since God wasn't helping him. He decided to preach exactly the opposite what christ had taught. Therefore came kill your neighbour, marry as many wives, stone the unbelievables, wage wars, etc etc. But since he was very smart, he knew that a purely extreme relegion would lead to anarchy. So he added a few strict rules which would seem as "good". No drinking, no pork, women not to show their faces, help everyone except non muslims, convert everyone by force etc. Then he outlined his strategy and came out of hiding and declared his "relevations" from God directly and god's new rules. Since this was more acceptable the nomads accepted it. Thus the relegion. A brainwashed and violent race began. Waging wars, restricting women etc. They still beleive, they are serving God.
