Good idea....goverment should compulsory ask the reserved category students to have a government stint and protect their networks. This was the government would be able to solve the employment problem for them and also would be able to save their networks (if they are successful).

What the so called meritorious candidates doing? sitting and gossiping about caste politics. mugging and putting it on paper is not merit, dear first revive the education system and then take of merit.
The Chinese have the best IQ after the Jews. Then come Caucasians. Then come Americans, then India, Pak and Sri Lanka, then Arabs, then sub Sharan Africa. These are survey results of a very qualified Survey organisation. So do not even try to compare Indian brains with Chinese. They are extremely smart and intelligent. We Indians are only good at showing oodles of patriotism and showing overt and illogical religious overtures. We are an emotional people. Do not look too much into IT being Indian stronghold. We are just Code-Coolies, cheap labour working for a few biscuits trown by the Western countries(US, UK, Germany etc.) This is bitter, but true. We do not create wealth, we just have slave mentality, always want to work cheap, and fart and boast about how intelligent we are. Look at China, even the US pees in its pants looking at them!

I agree with you.i talked to few IT technicians from various corporates lik TC s WIPR o and i was surprised they could not assemble a personal computer..Some of them even did not knew diffrent types of memories available nowadays.You know assembling computer is new to almost 80 pecent of their staff.about same percentazge working their dxont know how to prevent users friom blocking pen drives on computers.As far as software is concerned we are just software testers..code duplicators,writing code(not designming it).Yes we are just code coolies..Many people boast of themslves as software programmers,but the truth is they just type codes given to them.Also tehy ahve to test the softrae not design it.that is the truth.basics shoulkd be clear before taking a new project .....

For your information... the IT guys deals with specific software.. not with hardware. So its not a surprise thing. 2nd - handling hardware is not a mind game, its a process followed approach. You have no idea about 'logic' in a program, so it is difficult to make u understand at this point.

Intel has vacated the plan of opening a development center in India because of poor politics of congress and left. It is beacuse of communists, companies are eyeing china rather than coming to India. Few companies have established their development center in Calcutta because in Calcutta left has weak base

Hi Sreevalsan, I doubt that if ever have u developed a full package or application software without which some other software can't functions. U may be coding some lines of code everyday for ur company to which in turn selling it as part of packege. Another thing is that in the S/W field nothing has been done original from india. Can u give me a name a language, an application s/w that is plateform independent or operating system or database or network protocol. No u can't. Beacuase of this we are habitual of working on language of western contries. Chinese are now almost developed and testing its own Network Protocol's set and counterpart of Internet. Just try to get in the Chinese web sites u will feel a whole world defference. Also they have got their own Unicode Character set and trying to develop ASCII equalent CHAR Set. Why u are closing ur eyes from Reality of Chinese dream to Riegn the world

Do u think all the IT guys working are coolies? I am sorry to say that we indians have dominated the IT part in the world in such a manner that - without these guys some companies can't function and business comes to stand still. For your information - I say it's not child'd play that everyone can do with a computer handle all the critical applications. Third - may be Jews and Chinese are good, but we are no less in the mind game.
And the last is - making on wealth.. just wait and watch for next 7 to 10 years, and see where india would be.

yes thats the truth.we are cheap labor hence preferred.and talented people dont go for low [profiles like code coding and all taht stuff.thats why MNCS have to higher from here as we arwe ready to do coding as well as testing and that too in less salary.i am not saying coding and testing and duplicateing codes is abd,its jsut another work and due respect to that.but talen ted prefer dont opt for that kinda stuff.

My dear, if you think we work for the buiscuits of Western countries, well its business, we have an organised sofware industry, and if we do business with western countries, what is wrong in that. We are anyway lot better than Chinese who maigrate enmasse to the western countries and end up working in restaurants, if u happen to walk the streets of New york,London etc, you will find out.And do you think its a respectable job to manufacture all those cheap goods, toys and toilet papers, which although people in western countries are using but with an expression 'ooh man, its made in China' !!

How could you know that Chinese IP address are being used by other people. I can use my IP address of India sitting in Iceland. Moreover, do you know where most of the hack e-mail arrived from and the latest virus written?
It does not mean we Indians cannot learn a lesson or two to buld our own military network. Know when to use civilian networ. Neither the Chinese nor the, Wash. DC nor the Congo peope will not want to see sensitive information if our security & policy are weak
