Modi is an Opportunists!!
by Tataghata Mukherjee on Oct 18, 2007 01:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Modi is not a Good Person.Even i used to think highly of him..But i have realised after going through the net that his kinda Hindutva does'nt makes sense.
It only Creates Hatred among the various Communities..
Modi has nothing to do with Hindutva. He showed his true colours when he supported a leader like LK Advani for his remarks on Jinnah. The RSS and the Sangh Parivar had no objections to Advani visiting (Mohammad Ali) Jinnah's mausoleum and paying him tributes. But calling Jinnah secular and a nationalist was unacceptable. Everyone in the Sangh felt outraged but Modi alone supported him. In fact, people like Modi have nothing to do with Hindus or Muslims. They are opportunists.

Kudos Modiji - The Modern Sardar who can only save us from the clutches of communal congress backed by EC
by S S on Oct 18, 2007 01:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is win-win-win situation for Sri Modiji. Congress & NGOs alias Congress funding Godhra Investigations did not work they kept pumping more money to keep Godhra riots alive so that people can forget 1984 Sikh riots instigated by their leaders and who are now holding ministerial berths. Finally it is a naked truth that Congress cares only for minority and least bothered about Hindus. Do they know how many Kar Sevaks were burnt in the coach? A 'pious' intention that will fool few people. A party that has managed to keep its leaders from being prosecuted for 1984 riots and even rewarded one of them with a cabinet berth in the present government can hardly be trusted in this matter. Are we to believe that our laws do not have enough teeth to book the criminals involved in such riots? The only way such riots may be prevented is by making the politicians in charge of the relevant ministries culpable. The home minister at the time of the 1984 carnage went on to become the PM in the subsequent Congress government. See how they were politicising relief work in J&K

Dear S S ,
Well said about the psuedo secular, hypocratic, congress who are crying hoarse about Gujarat riots ( by suppressing the real cause of 2002 riots to garner muslim votes )& ignoring the 1984 riots against innocent sikhs by burning, butchering & killing by their politicians.

What is your honest assessment of Modi's performance?
by Anil Gonsalves on Oct 18, 2007 01:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

A question to all Gujjus who have/are living in Gujarat and fellow non-Gujjus who are doing the same. You have seen Modi's government for the last five years. What do you think are his major successes as well as failures? How much improvement do you see in A'mbad, Baroda or Surat as compared to five years ago? What are the concrete, VISIBLE improvements? Be as honest as possible.

How many marks out of 10 will you give him?
I shall record what I think are the good and points of Modi's regime.

Successes:

1. Jyotigram scheme has ensured if not 24 hour power, than at least 14-16 hours of power. I say this because I have seen villages in Saurashtra and Kutch which are NOT getting 24 hours power.

2.) Cleanliness, greenery: A'mbad is a cleaner and greener city than before. In the past, your eyes burned from the sheer pollution of Karnavati. Now it has reduced.

3.) Sabarmati Riverfront: This is a project that has taken a lot of time and has had many delays and missed deadlines but it has the potential to become something significant.

4.) Gas-Grid: this project envisages linking all of Guj's major cities with gas pipelines so that every household can get piped gas as well as industrial and commercial users.

5.) Kankaria lake facelift: This too is not complete but already has made a difference.

6.) Evening courts have reduced the backlog of cases in A'mbad considerably. Please Have this in Baroda, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar as well.

7.) Now for the bad po

MODI IS A LEADER WHO MUST BE SUPPORTED
by hemant rathor on Oct 18, 2007 01:13 PM  Permalink

When we look for good leaders in India Definitely Modi is the one who would be voted by good number. And see the development Gujrat have made under his leadership. Its tremendous and acclodable. Its time for everyone to support good leaders irrespective of the party.

Its time to for us to look at the development rather politics involved because no party is for the country. So atleast help India to get good leaders.

Riots in Gujarat have occured for more than 17 times before Modi came in power. Riots is a bad sopt in his CV , but he has run administration very well . Gujarat should not lose this man only because of riots .

The point is not that under whoes rule the roits took place the point is which phislophy and forces are responsible for roits. The terrorist and communal forces can not be let off merely on the ground that at the relevent point of time they were not in power. The Naxlites voilence in AP, Chattisargh , M.P ,Bihar continues unabted ,no matter which political paety is in power.

Gujarat has been wounded 17 times ( 17 riots ) before Modi came in power. Riots are worst for all communities. All past 17 times many people were wounded without Modi in power. to ahte Modi because of riots , then you must hate all past CMS, Congress etc . ? You should not be biased on single RIOT woounds

The communist can go to any country. They rule North Korea,China, Cuba ,Vietnam, VeneZuela,Bolivia,Ecuador and Nicragua. They have strong presence in Guatemala,Paraguay,Mexico,Columbia and peru. They have strong presence in France,Germany. They exist in Austrlia,Canada,Great Britain (Almost 138 conturies have communist parties). But what About RSS and their associates. They survive only on the basis of communal hatred. What will happen to them if All HINDU -MUSLIM-SIKH -CHRITIANS AND OTHERS UNITE as INDIAN ?
