China sommon its US enovy. India sommon Ronen Sen. Angry against George Bush and American foriegn policy increase in India as well as around the world, because George Bush is trying to bring Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, China, Latin American countries and India under his feet.
Karat & Co who never forgave the US for winning the cold war. So now Karat & Co would "stick" it to the US even if it means harming India's interests. Only China, Pakistan and the "Indian" Left are opposed to the nuclear deal. Any Indian but a communist creep can do the math of that anti-India threesome. For the record, there is nothing in the agreement that requires India to assist the US attacking anybody; India has full reprocessing rights under the deal. And most importantly India breaks free of the technology denial regime that was imposed under NPT. China has ordered several nuclear power plants from the US and western companies so that it can continue to power up its economy while the Left in India would prevent the country from breaking free of its nuclear shackles and thus keep permanently hobbled vis-a-vis China.
What is really disconcerting in this whole episode is the shameless capitulation of Congress to the blatant blackmail of the Left. Such cowardly surrender to Left diktats has been going on during the entire duration of the regime and yet this is by far the most damaging episode for long-term Indian interests. Manmohan Singh has lost his honor and position of respect in the eyes of Indian people. Sonia Gandhi has proved that she only cares about ensuring the future position for her family. Finally, none of the political parties care about India%u2019s future and that includes BJP as well given its glee at govt%u2019s discomfit and refusal to come to deal%u
I was under the impression that this guy Karat was smart. Now I am in doubt of what lies between his ears. 1. He is against organized retail that stands for more efficiencies in marketing, reduction in waste and more job generation by stimulating the economy. 2. He thinks all the nuclear reactors will come from the US. Actually we may get very little from the US. Reactors will come from France Japan and Russia that are more advanced in this technology and Uranium will come from Australia. 3.He thinks India will become the "Junior" partner of the US. That is the silliest piece of logic from him. Who cares about it when we are doing business with the americans. The only important question is - do we gain from the deal? I guess Karat is willing to accept losses and poverty if someone puts a crown on his head. 4. He thinks that the Missile defense partnership will lead to aiming missiles at Russia and China. Does he realize that this defensive system can only knock off incoming missiles and not bomb enemy cities and targets. 5.He opposes foreign universities. Does he understand that less than 5% of our Universities are world class. A few of our medical and engineering colleges are only fit to be cow sheds. China is building a huge university system and we are far behind. Where is Karat going to find the billions we need for higher education?
Karat is bringing shame to our country with his himalayan ignorance.

Karat said the deal was not just to meet the energy needs of the country but clearly to bring in the multinational retail establishments like Wal-Mart.
This is the Height of stupidity. India is doomed if the communists still hold sway after the next election

Bush threatened to bomb Pakistan back to the stone age. Karat is now doing it to India. Karats vision of India will only allow the survival of Dinosaurs and Woolly Mammoths.

I hate calling people names but I must at least admit that you are pretty close to defining him. And we have to define his buddies Bardhan and Karunanidhi too.
It seems Mr.Karat is running the Indian goverment. Congress lost its backbone. It is suppose to be Nation's major political party. It seems they are willing to go any extend to please the Left and hang on the power. They oppose anything has the name USA. These traitors should be punished in the polling booth.
