CID has completed their investigation, and filed an interim report (final one was supposed to be filed in next few days though its stopped now).
Just protocol - the Police Commissioner long ago ceased being concerned with policing, crime etc - he's been way too busy charting out Kolkatta's cricket agenda, being the headman of CAB and all.
These I.P.S., and I.A.S. will have to be abolished due to their incompetency to handle any crisis and further due to the spate of corruption charges as seen in UP. where several I.P.S. officers have been suspended and now in Kolkotta few I.P.S. officers are alleged to have been in collusion with the rich dad of the bride! Absence of culture, imaginative and applicative constituents of education in the presnt education through which either memorize, read short notes or read some briefs of some bad authors just to score marks, of course buying degrees is also not ruled out, is the reason for such shameful and pathetic affairs of this so called top officers bungling in various cases from time to time!!
