I must warn you. We are like an airborne contagious virus. Shut your eyes, ears and mouth, before we spoil you. We are one of a kind, unique specie with an instinct to survive at any cost. In this age our only means to LOOK prosper was to engineer a Niche. 9/11 was a blessing in disguise for Pakistan (10 billion$ in Aid from 2001-2007) and more to come...yummy yummy. We turned lucky. No need to work. We breed and feed terrorism in the back yard and sacrifice them (whenever necessary) to please the masters who can paint rosy pictures to their electorate. Govind summarise it nicely.
How far can we go with this? That is the question. Will we keep turning luckier every now and then? Thanks to the land of Faithful and believers God has special considerations for us. What if almighty got sick and tired of giving us opportunities? My God! That will be the day of remembrance for all humans on this planet earth, for we are a ticking time bomb.
How in Pakistan only one Justice is giving final verdict? There should be panel of 5 justice. The majority opinion should be considered as final verdict.

It is not that only one justice is giving the final verdict. The Chief Justice always sits with a bench. The Chief Justice is only the first among the equals. In most cases he sits with a larger bench comprising five to seven fellow judges. The decisions are given by the bench and not the chief justice alone.
The destiny of Pakistanis is written in bold letters. I am afraid how long this kind of weak foundation will able to bear the load of the structure of so-called democracy. May God bless Musharraf with long and active life so that Pakistanis may reach the Black Hole in the minimum possible time! I cannot help but only pity Pakistani brethren.

I am not surprised by the comment, since when people believed there are brothers accross borders it has been enemies all these 60 years.Anyway the concerns need to be understood not that we have very good democratic norms in India but obviously it is lot different and better that what system our neighbours have and I do feel anxious about them,a balanced and prosperpous neighbour could be an asset and the two countries ca play important role undoing what British Empire did 60 years back;reducing poetntially growing countries to poor and disturbed nations
Sometimes we feel like laughing for what is going on in the name of restoring democracy. Musharraf is organizing a race in which he is the organizer, patron, announcer, sponsor, selector, starter, participant, judge and lab in charge for dope testing %u2013 all blended in one. He has almost ensured that he gets the trophy. Musharraf wants to call heads or tails only after the coin falls on the ground.
He has withdrawn all corruption charges against Benzir Bhutto after intense haggling as if it were his paternal property. He was at so much ease when his assistants were %u201Cnegotiating%u201D with Benzir Bhutto for %u201Cpower sharing%u201D by keeping Nawaz Sharif out from the race. Is it power sharing or height of opportunism? It was amazing that he put a condition before his countrymen that he would shed his uniform after being elected President. It meant he would remain President in uniform if he were not elected President without uniform. I don%u2019t know why Benzir Bhutto%u2019s party abstained from voting if she was ready for %u201Cpower sharing%u201D? In this way, he ensured that nobody voted against him even by mistake. As of now, Musharraf is entitled to remain in uniform up till 15th November and he expects the Pakistan Supreme Court to deliver judgment in his favour within that time. It is a clear indication that Musharraf will impose martial law on 14th November if Supreme Court tries to linger the case beyond 15th Nov, Musharraf%u2019s last to don uniform.
