Still Standing Tall.

First of all quite a reasonable forum. It does seem that majority of Indians have finally started reading the dirty politics behind these things. That is good.As for as Sikhs are concerned, they can face challenges and are used through out the times in history to face much worse. It will be good to ponder upon as Indians to see what is wrong with our system as a whole.Indians are running sucessful big businesses and are helping the worl economy grow but I think we are not serious enough about facing our own short comings. The whole system, political, social, judical seems to tb brocken.I hope ordinary masses will force the leaders to fall in line and be accountable.Poor and weak need to get justice (not the political labeling kind but the real one to the real needy). May be then we as a society can face these things even before these happen.

Sikhs and their Hindu apologists
by Ram Chauthariya on Oct 16, 2007 08:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sikhs and their Hindu friends here are calling anyone who makes anti-Sikh statements as ISI agents. There is no sense of responsibility and shame for terrorists' action most likely carried out by Sikhs.
I wonder where their common sense is. Sikhs here on this forum by not condemning these Sikh terrorists are just supporting them

Its because every reasonable person knows, Sikh terrorism was because of Indira's misguided policies to sacrifice some Hindus in Punjab, thus derive some Hindu backlash as votebank!

Sikhs are bravest Indian, and need no cerificate from Jehadis and Congress stooge.

All Indians beware!

The Paki ISI agents are back again, this time trying to divide Hindus and Sikhs by posting anti-Sikh comments and brining in Sikh religion into discussion.

The Sikhs are great Indians. Every Hindu owes our Sikh brothers for the bravery and sacrifice they have made historically againt Muslim invaders and in the wars against the Pakis since independence.

BASED ON THIS BRILLIANT MESSAGE I THINK ISI CONTROLS THE WORLD (OR IS IT CIA...) OR ICIA OR ....

If ISI was so brilliant why could Pakistan not even make a Motorycle engine themselves.

Indians after 50 years of Indipendants manufactured its first ever indegenously designed motorcycle engine in 1998. Why cannot Pakistanis and ISI

This is not an exception but it (violence) is becoming norm now for the Sikhs.

disco kind out 340 ppl killed in that crash 280 were sikhs. and if you ever allow real investigations you will know who did that crash. let me tell you why they want khalistan. electericity is produced in punjab but harayana and delhi gets it cheaper than punjab and no cuts while punjab gets 6-8 hours cut. under riparian law water belongs to a particular state if it goes through that state. harayana and rajishtan get it for free from punjab for last 40 years and punjab pays to haryana for their water. we used to import grains from australia but sikhs with only 1.3% population prouduced 58% of indian's grain but they get paid less per ton than other states. all hindi movies have 3-4 punjabi songs but some hindus in jalandhar and amritsar proclaim their mother tongue is hindi but they tell that in punjabi to the census bureu i went to school in jalandhar while my dad worked there. we have always treated them 2nd class citizens and i have enough guts and common sense to accept that, while south created wealth for them sikhs's each family enlisted one kid for indian army. in 1971 every punjabi family did fast for one day a week to send food to the border when indian army was short on food. Nehru should have allowed general i forget his first name but general bhullar, a sikh to finish pakistan in 1965/1971 when he told nehru that these pakis will never let us live in peace. Religion and peace

Most religions do have some philosophy regarding peace and non-violence. Some religions preach warfare for some reasons, others shun violence whatsoever. I shall list religions having violence as theme in decreasing order.
1. Islam
2. Christianity (though Christ never preached violence, his followers do)
3. Sikhism
4. Hinduism
5. Budhism & Jainism

Have you evr heard of Budhists and Jains involved in violence. they are generally victims as in Sri lanka or Myanmar.

See the point

Even I dont know about other religions but what I am sure of my religion (and almost sure of other religions) is that We need to help poors and innocents and in this process if you need to fight anybody, it is 'Approved'. We carry the sword, we wear the turbans since anybody, i repeat anybody (Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jain or anybody else) can easily recognise us and come to us for help and We, being the Sikhs, CAN NOT DENY.

Are you crazy kalki??? Japanese are murderous warriors with a penchant for suicide. That is not a direct teaching of Buddhism but the theory of reincarnation has been used by Japanese to take an indifferent view of death. As for your contention abt violence as a theme, you forgot to mention the basic & most unique aspect of Islam. It is a political system more than anything else. Islam established a Caliphate with a vision to bring evryone to the supposed path of revelations from Allah. No other religion is a 'divine' political system.

it is wrong to say that a religion preaches voilence, let it be any. Islam fundamentalist have interpretted that in their own sense but it again is their own for selfish gains. Christanity and islam preach them selves more so that they get more converted to their belife. I would say they are insecure and do not have deep foundations to stand on. As one of them is imposed and the other is narrated scientifically. Sikhiism does not preach violence. Keep in mind sikhism is a following and belief, and sikh is the only soldier who has the rights to protect the hindu religion. Sikhism preaches love, purity and equalness and power with confidence to be executed if the need be. Jainism /buddhism preaches the sanyas , again it is a following. The two followings are the right and left shoulders of hinduism. To percentile them is no way a balanced approach. Christanity never preached violence by jesus, but the ineterpretence by the people down the line to impose their upmanship they have changed the sermon of love during barbaric times which is again based on hindu scriptures to sermons of conversion and insecurity. islam was imposed so that the ruler could be considered as god as he was not, but again both these religions or followings have come up during the barbaric times so give them the doubt of being young. Hinduism has existed and been in existence since the human origin to last infinite date. Hinduism is not a religion but a principle to live as a human on the planet.

In continuation , the history is the proof that it was a sikh who bared his chest first to take on the sword or the bullet. You have to know and understand a sikh as he is a human who gives him self to a cause, and that cause is the purity to persist and lead. Sikh is the soldier for the hindu principles and it is being demoted as a religion by some foolish people who are again giving sermons and interpretting the granth in theor own ideology. If you read the granth every word the guru says at the end of evry line is a hari. being from the guru family down many generations i feel sorry how his thoghts and saying have been mutilated for selfish reasons by many organisations.I was shocked to see bhindarwale potraits as guru in many gurudwaras, well the guru who preached love, truth and equalness has now bhindarwalla to share the podium as guru. Does that rapist and politically hungry mane equal the guru gobindsinghs deed any where, but when i see the comparisons by these fools i bleeed a tear of blood as what i see down hundred years is not good because of hatred being spread under this preaching. But any way if a person is a sikh let me tell he will be the first one to give blood than take or harm any, and they do not need proofs to proof them selves. I am not a sikh but i still belive in them and trust them more

First I want to give my sympathies to the families affected by this.
Whoever did this needs to be caught and punished. If (and this is a big if) it was Sikh separatists you will see that the Sikh community will be among this first demanding the criminals be arrested. Even Sikh's who want Kalistan do not condone or even try to explain terrorists (and it is a fact that most Sihks in India do not want a seperate state- rather they want and deserve human rights and respect).
If it is Islamic militants I hope for a strong rejection by the Muslim community- but it has never happened before. We will only get excuses again.

Khalistan would be a big mistake if it happens. But again, its always better to have one if there were to be another 1984. I know what did we suffer. I know the pain.
