Dear Gladiator/Ismail, Hiduism is like a ocean which absorbs different kind of thoughts without killing others. You can follow Hinduism irrespective of whether you believe in God or not. So whatever you have described is just one of the thoughts reflecting in Hindu religion. I am expecting more from you in this regard. The more you study about the Hinduism, you will becom more tolerant towards others & it will expand your vision of sight!

Good Gladiator. I appreciate your knowledge of Vedas. However, Srimad Bhagavadgita that is known as the Fifth Veda is not quoted by you. Let me say just one verse: "Yo Maam Pashyathi Sarvatra, sarvancha Mayi Pashyathi. Tasyaaham na Pranashyaami so cha me na Pranashyathi". He who sees me in everywhere will see me in everything. He will not be invisible to me, nor will I be invisible to him. Further I would like you to read the Tenth Chapter (Vibhuthi Yoga) where Lord has given example of several creatures, living and non-living in whom he exists.
So while you are right in whatever you have written, let us leave it to those who interpret the meaning and follow it according to their own beliefs.

Dear Gladiator, there is no question of mis-conception. The Prophet (Mohammed) is the founder of Islam religion. Before The Prophet, there was no religion called Islam.
The so-called revealation from the Allah was the handiwork of The Prophet (Mohammed) to hoodwink and/or motivate his followers (with all those rewards in heaven or cruel punishments in hell, etc).
The Prophet (Mohammed) changed the verses from time to time to suit the peculiar circumstances. Any amount of jugglery with words cannot convince rationalits like me!

Dear Gladiator, this another Surah from The Koran:
2:222 They question thee (O Muhammad) concerning menstruation. Say: It is an illness, so let women alone at such times and go not in unto them till they are cleansed. And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah hath enjoined upon you. Truly Allah loveth those who turn unto Him, and loveth those who have a care for cleanness.
The Allah (or is it Mohammed) equates menstruation to an illness where as it is a normal biological process and a pre-condition for reproduction. Is this what you call devine revealation??????????????????

Yes what is the Definition of ILLNESS ? Dictionary.com says ILLNESS means 1. unhealthy condition; poor health; indisposition; sickness. Go and ask your Wife, Sister or Mother on How they feel when they are in Menses.... They wont be ready to come for a Picnic, which means they are not Feeling Well and Hence they are Sick...

Hi Imran, so far as I can see, the main problem with dogmatic muslims is their lack of understanding of The Koran. If they read the same in a language they fully understand, they will also understand the fact that there is nothing in the so-called holy book, except the handiwork of Mohammed to hoodwink his followers!
Any way we have to try out best to make the so-called warriors of Allah (or the corresponding denomination of other Gods), the futility of the so-called holy books, which have outlived their utility.

Like Islam or Christanity we donot require Missioniries.Because it is the tradition we carry. If a person wants to drink milk, he uses a cup as he cannot drink it directly. For the quivering and unsteady mind, there should be a visible form or a symbol, the idol, so that it becomes a foundation for his adoration. The idol form of God is akin to a vessel which enables a man to drink the milk. Through the instrumentality of an idol, a devotee comprehends divinity.
It appears BJP is in a suicide mode. The problem of these BJP dissidents is that they were never allowed by Modi to make money through Power. He gave an efficient and corruption-free Governance much to the chagrin of people within his own party and outside. It is much easier for RSS to be giving guidelines from outside as the do not know the compulsions of politics. My god, their obsession with non-issues is amazing. The anti-Modi forces will bite the dust after the Dec. polls and disappear from the scene. If Modi projects development and governance as the issues, he will win hands down. His defeat is not the defeat of an individual or a party, but the defeat of a well-meaning experiment.

Muhammad??? 39:12 And I am commanded to be the first of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him).
So Allah himself seems to be a confused fellow! The how can he save millions of his followers?

Ismail Sayyed, now there are better methods of disposing bodies which do not create any pollution. Modern crematoriums use electricity and even natural gas for burning the bodies. Burying dead bodies contaminate the ground and ground water!

Dear Gladiator, I am not irritated and don't say that Hinduism is a better religion. All religins are hoaxes. The religions and gods were created by the priestly class to earn their livlihood by exploiting the illiterate masses.
Moses was a mentally deranged murderer from Egypt, hiding in the hills of Sinai. The Prophet (Mohammed) was a metnally deranged epleptic and had frequent halucinations. Both used the same technique (revealation thru Angel Gabriel) to befool the gullible believers. A major potion of The Koran is plagrised version of Old Testament (Torah).
We have the examples of Sri Sri Ravi Shanker, Mata Amritanandamayi, Sai Baba of Puttaparthy, Benny Hinn, the late Osho Rajnesh,etc having lakhs of followers in front of us. Do you call them prophets or saints? These people are just making fool of the believers. If such characters are able to take people living in 21st century, we can only imagine how Moses or Mohammed was able to befool their followers at that time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Ismail Sayyed, your claims are contrary to the facts. The general policy of most of the rulers during the 700 years of Muslim occupation of India was to systematically replace the fabric of Hindu society and culture with a Muslim culture. They tried to destroy Indian religions, language and places of knowledge (e.g Nalanda was totally destroyed by Muslims). They destroyed and desecrated places of thousands of temples including Somnath, Mathura, Benaras, Ayodhaya, Kannauj, Thaneswar and in other places. There was wholesale slaughter of the monks and priests and innocent Hindus with the aim to wipe out the intellectual bedrock of the people they overran.
The Muslims could not subjugate India with ease and were never able to rule it entirely. There was a valiant and ceaseless struggle for independence by Hindus to deliver India from Muslim tyranny. The Rajputs, Jats, Marathas and Sikhs led this struggle in North India. In the South this struggle was embodied in the Vijayanagar Empire. This struggle culminated when the Marathas ended the Muslim domination of India.
All those things happened in an era where MIGHT was RIGHT. There is no need for the Muslims in India to justify the same nor be apologetic about it.
The majority of present day Muslims in India are the decendants of those who suffered at the hands of the invading Arabs. If you want to consider the actocities committed by the invaders on your ancestors, it is your choice!
