NUCLEAR DEAL WITH U.S.A.
by gautam shah on Oct 16, 2007 11:45 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I TOTALLY AGREE TO THIS SUGGESTION. "BJP" AS A RESPONSIBLE OPPOSITION (IF THEY ARE SENSIBLE) SHOULD OFFER ISSUE BASE SUPPORT TO CONGRESS ON THIS ISSUE AND GET THE DEAL THROUGH. WE HAVE TO ALLIGN OURSELF WITH U.S.A. WHEN WE ARE SURROUNDED BY MANY BORDER UN-CERTAINTIES, AND ENERGY CRISES. LET US HOPE FOR THIS SENSIBLE APPROACH BY "BJP". THIS CAN ONLY EARN THEM RESPECT.

This is not the time to play politics. Our country's interest is PRIME. Any foreign policy has to be dynamic. It has to go on changing to suit the countr's interest. I am sure that manmohan singh is more intelligent and exposed than any LEFT leaders. I am sorry to state that communism is the thing of past. The communist countries are also abondoning this policy. OR COUNTRY HAS TREMENDOUS POTENTIAL to progress. This growth is the only way to spread the wealth to all the people

I fully agree with Mr Varghese and his reply to educated but at same time using undiplomatic language against educated highly respected P M.
Elighted and educated people should stand by PM who has come up on basis of his merits.

An appeal to BJP
by Jit Dutta on Oct 16, 2007 11:43 AM  Permalink

If BJP really wants to be the 'Bharat First' party then for once it would stop sulking and extend an offer to work with the Congress govt to safeguard greater national interest. Yes, BJP should have been ruling party today and not Congress, yes MMS/Sonia should have consulted BJP while negotiating the deal. But then it is also BJP's chance to let bygones be bygones for Bharat's sake. Lets face it, if India misses this chance for back door entry to the big league then it can pretty much kiss any such entry goodbye for the next 20 years. Its pretty much certain that the next US president would be a democrat who would be much less inclined to complete this deal in its present form let alone anything more as BJP claims it would negotiate if it comes back to power.

Lets face it, Ayodhya was one time affair. Solely on minority bashing holds little prospect to coming back to power as the NDA allies would be reluctant to partner with a blatantly communal party and today's Indians are far too smart to vote solely on Ram Sethu or Ayodhya issue. OTH, if BJP now declares its intent to work with the govt then at least it can claim the moral high ground and earn back its patriotic label. It would then be up to Congress to take that offer of cooperation for India's sake. For once, let India be proud of its political leaders. Otherwise BJP would retain its petty-minded image and on the sidelines at the hour of Bharat's need. I doubt such a record would be very helpful in next election.

Let BJP come into power
by Vijay urf Teesmar Khan on Oct 16, 2007 11:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

As Rajnath Singh have already stated, if BJP comes into power, they will think again on such deal afresh. If BJP is in power the deal will be best suitable to the country and no compromise on its rights of self defence will be made.
So let us bring the BJP into power again.

Indo-US Nuclear Deal
by sanjay on Oct 16, 2007 11:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh must remember a saying in Hindi that "saanp ko sau din bhi doodh pilao lekin ek sau ekvain din woh das lega" (Even if you give milk to a snake for 100 days, it will bite you on the 101st).

Left has proved that they are snakes.

Why BJP is asked to sacrifice? Why not Congress?
by Ashish Agnihotri on Oct 16, 2007 11:39 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BJP carried out nuclear test - kudos ! Continued reforms - kudos ! Did Congress anytime standby them? Never. Congress is known to play petty politics. Why at this time BJP is asked to play big brother. If really congress feels nuclear deal is good for country - go ahead and operationalize...if the Govt falls due to old jokers it will only help them come to power again and also keep Indias standing high in world affairs. But no- they wont. Italian intelligence & Indian puppets feel that time is not ripe to go to voters especially minority voters who will vote again for Congress. Alas, ITS A SHAME ON CONGRESS. Be it JD(S) in Karnataka or Congress in Center they all want power. BJP has limitations but are far better than rest. It would be simply absurd to write about Communist most of whom have lost the pulse happenings around the world. Half are dead men alive and people like Prakash Karat with no base are literally enjoying life at cost of poor. Karat & their oppulent friends enjoy vacation in Italy and for publicity visit some remote areas to do some rallys. India has gone beyond repair in terms of ideology. With population increasing everday and disparity in economic status be prepared to be led by Fools ! Dont be surprised if Mayavati, Lalu, Bhardan, karat, Yechuris come to power and lead this country. The only way out is - if you can take it live in India else move out - dont think you can change nation. Only two kinds of people will be able to stay - one like Ambanis who

Well, BJP didn't have the nerds like 'Left' in their NDA. Anyways, the point is that every elected party should do what is best suited for the country. If BJP thinks that the deal is worth it, it should come forward and help India. This is not the question of Congress. It will be unfortunate if BJP plays selfishly here and let its narrow interests hamper the progress of the country

It is not the question of Congress or BJP. If the deal is in national interest BJP should help Congress to clinch this deal. It is a better deal than China's deal with US. Communists are not working in favor of India. Look at the naxalites and the closed factories in West Bengal and elsewhere. They are a great hinderance to progress. Communists lack motivational force to make people excel in various fields and that have been proven in Russsia and China. These countries now depend on US and Europe for their economies. So guys think who is right and who is not and make a wise decision. We have the best head of state in the world at this juncture. This too happened just because of a fluck. Do not expect PM's of the calibre of Manmohan Singh in near future because elected PMs' usually do not have enough economic knowledge and their decisions are often biased towards their parties.

Dear BJP supporter,
BJP is not asked to Congress rescue but Bharat's rescue from the clutches of leftist bulliess and the Congress cowards. If BJP really think they can negotiate a better deal if they come back to power then they are even bigger fools than they have made themselves look like so far. Does BJP really think a Democrat party US president would give BJP a better deal or for that matter another US president would risk his political captal after this shameful flipflop on India's part!
