The left have been opposing every kind of economic reform. They will not allow India to overtake china--and these are the guys who question other peoples patriotism!!!they survive in bengal because they have a 27% muslim votebank--being augmented by illegal bangladeshis--offering them ration cards for votes--do they not realise the dangers of ISI and terrorism--are they bothered? and they have the gall to call other parties as mischief makers!! Its time the people of india woke up and throw these guys who are ruling india without any accountability

And what about people who receive money through the left and refuse to support????????
Congress if you really want nuclear deal, make Vajpai as prime minister, support BJP, and go ahead, serve the nation as you think better. As you have history of more than 100 years ruling India, giving 2 year to BJP doesn't matter you. Leave that secular and insecular point.

that will be dream come true for BJP which is waiting for UPA govt to fall desperately.....
It will be better if they grow out of their selfish interests and help India to progress

I think you are not the citizen of Great India. Other wise you will not talk like this. Go to Middle east and criticie the Ex Ruler then you will know what you are and where you are.
This is the country where you can talk any thing abut the PM or President but alway think twice, do not misuse your rights.
If you are not the citizen of Indian then better you go to you country and talk abut your rulers.Do no interfier in our country matters.

Yes he is ill physically !! He is also a human being and give him some rest during his old age. Don't bring him in central politics or to be PM again. Don't we have any other person to be a PM ????

Can we get new PM, who inspired like Vajpai,His speeches really inspired me. Look and hear prsent pime minister speeches, even on talking on important subject, he speaks very softly and plainly. forget of that Sonia's speeches

Looks like you have not seen Bajpayee's speech in recent times. He takes 10 minutes pause before completing a sentence.
Once a British Parliament delegation came to meet him. There was a blind British MP in the delegation. He asked a question to Bajpayee. Bajpayee took so much time to answer that the MP asked his colleague if Prime Minister Bajpayee had left the room!
And I am not talking about Man Mohan Singh's speeches. Never had any doubt the intellectual content about his work.
Sonia has been wonderful. Far better than usual politicians. Both on National and International fora. She is spontaneous, witty, sharp and politically correct. Surprisingly she represents India and Indian values better than many of our local politician. Surprising. But true.

Dear All Local leaders,
Pls think for the country not for states, caste, relegion. Only one thing should be in mind ie 'INDIA'
It is the not the question of AVB or MS or any other but it is question of right person at right place.
When you and me think for country then only we will get the right person at right place or else opportunitics who only want to have wish and make the bank balacne.
We need BJP in this country. Who else can provide such humour and nautanki in this country ? The congress is a truly boring party - it talks of uninteresting stuff like development , garibi hatao , bijli ,women's rights, minority protection, secularism , bringing poor and dispossessed to mainstream , economic reforms , privatization etc etc. Not much fun.
All political parties are well aware that their future is alligned with fagile coaliation government. Hence, it is essential for each party to think and revitalise the concept of "issued based support" whichever is in power. This is in the interest of the nation. If the nation survives, we all- - political parties, governments and its people-- will survive. Nuclear energey requirement is a fact of the life, without which economic growth will be a far distant dream. Look at China....a communist country ...but surging ahead with its economic growth plans to comply 21st century requirements. Communist parties in India are adapting pick and choose policies stating that they are ideologgically suitable for Indian concept. But they are forgetting that they are living in fools paradise. Being a responsible opposition and a youthful party of India, I am sure wisdom prevails and they will not allow this nuclear deal to go into cold storage. My sincere appeal to BJP to come forward and discuss with UPA Goverment and discuss threadbare to save the deal. Any anamolies can be sorted out if there is a healthy intent to aloow the deal to go through. Let us all support this deal and give a big hand to BJP as the reliable oppositon party in tis country.
BJP is so hungry for power that one feels sorry for them. Having tasted power once they just cannot wait to get back. All their predictions of mid-term elections since 2004 when they lost the election have come to naught. They will be well advised to change course, give up communalism, break their relations with the RSS, Shiv Sena and VHP, think in terms of nation's good and support the Govt on issues that are worthy of support and not oppose for the sake of opposition. Opposition party in a democracy is meant to be a watch dog and not a compulsive opponent to oppose anything and everything that the Govt does. They should learn from the western countries from whom we have copied the system of parliamentary democracy. There on many issues the two sides get together if they find it is in the interest of the nation. On other issues they discuss and debate in a decent and disciplined manner and not create hungama and stage walkouts like the BJP has done in the last 3 1/2 years that they have been out of power. India badly needs a good, efficient and disciplined opposition party and the BJP can fulfil; that role if they have the wisdom and will to do so otherwise they can sulk and make stupid statements like some of their leaders do and stay in wilderness..
If all the BJP stalwarts really feel from the bottom of their heart that N-Deal is in best interest of the nation and had accepted evn if it had come in NDA's tenure, They should come out openly and support it and show left their real place. Similarly for Ram Setu also, if the project is definitely going to benift India they should aloow it to proceed. Even old ancestral properties are scarifised for improvement and betterment, or at some times for personal gains.

Sahadevan is only a psuedonym for Rajeev Srinivasan. He doesn't take much interest in discussions after columns other than his own.
we should not jump into conclusions. Dr,Manmohan Singh is a clever man and that was shown in his aptness in bringing a heavily conservative country like India towards the path of liberlisation which he started in 1991. He surely has some ideas to implement the deal. Give him some time. He will not let this deal go because of communists

Deal is already in dustbin. This is done for 2 reasons 1. to save the government 2. MMS shouldn't be public hero in next elections to make way for rahul.

Dear John Do you really think that MMS is in a position to call "shots". If that was the situation, he would have stuck to his earlier statements of "insistence " for nuke deal. But the Congress President & UPA Chairman is calling the shots now to save the government because she intends Rahul take over the position by next elections. Praising MMS for liberalisation since 1991, is an acceptable fact to some extend,...but dont forget it was the TINA factor which forced India to open its rusted iron gates in 1991. I really appreciate MMS for his intelligence but he is just an officiating PM but shots are called by the SG Madam. So what can we all expect from this poor man......!!!!
It is true that CPI and CPI (M) are not supporting Congress on Nuclear Issue. Because we are all in a democratic country where every one and every political party (thousands of them) have a say on all matters of India's progress and in India's future. To make India move forward in fast leap and bounds in future, we should abolish religion, caste, regional states and have only 2 party system like in other western countries. This will only bring India into a more dominant mode of progress instead of having chats / discussions with xyz parties concerning all matters of governance.
