Only one Solution
by Vijay urf Teesmar Khan on Oct 13, 2007 10:02 AM  Permalink

There is only one solution of Kashmir issue. It is to wipe out Pakistan from the map of the world. There is no other solution possible, because the problem is not Kashmir, it is Pakistan.

There is no Kashmir problem.
by saturn on Oct 13, 2007 09:33 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What position? Pakistan has absolutely NO position. There is no 'Kashmir problem' except that to get back the part occupied by Pakistan.
The concept of 'Line of control' is meaningless when somebody has encroached our land.

Give Karachi and Lahore and occupied Kashmir to India, Give back the portion of Aksai chin gifted by them to China, Give North East Frontier and Peshawar to Pachtuns, Give entire eastern Region to Punjab and then stand where you want to!

You are correct
but Indir Nehru signed an agreement called shimla agreement by which we are supposed to settle kashmir thro' mutual talks without third party mediation. When there was no problem and India has won 1971 War why should she sign such an agreement ? why nobody questioned her?

My friend after almost 40 years it is clear that what were the pressures on India govt. at the time of war of 1971. India WIN but at that time was not in a position to enlarge the scope of war. we are rightly can argue that Winning side having 90,000 men of opponent could not able to bargain over its disputes property. and remember not any senior political leader talk oever this issue. This hints that there must be some solid reason that our leaders could not do so.

Our one point proposal
by Parimala Badrinath on Oct 13, 2007 08:15 AM  Permalink

We have a one point proposal to your four point proposal. Accept LoC as border and move on. Why don't you give up your stated position ? Why isn't the onus on you ?

And oh ! Your "brilliant idea" of a self-governance for Kashmir is called our state govt. I know this is hard for a military dictator to understand, esp. in a country where a majority of the problem areas are centrally administered (Northern Areas, FATAs etc)

Need Brave Heart Leaders
by J D on Oct 13, 2007 01:40 AM  Permalink

We know now that Pakistan can never become democratic and the military will always be all powerful in polical affairs of this nation. You cannoyt expect solution to Kashmir from Pakistan. It is for the people of Kasmir to demand from Indian Govt that they want United Kashmir within India and for that India should lay a claim to whole Kashmir and if Pakistan tries something like Kargil again they should go all out and annex whole of Kashmir, like they did at the time of Bangla Desh. It is really the Kashmiries who have to voice their opinion.

Yes. It was a foolishness of Indira Gandhi to allow Bangladesh enjoy full freedom status. It must have kept it Finacially and politically dependent on India. We must have treated Bangladesh with firm stand against any type Anti-India activities.

by jiniharesh on Oct 13, 2007 01:26 AM  Permalink

Musharraf buddy cool cool. Let India support Balochistan tribals' and liberate it as a seperate country with the help of Afganistan and Tajikistan. If they still fight in J&K, let's split Pakistan slowly and it'll become small pieces.
