Mussaraf is talking sense but he need to go a little further. His proposal is nothing but partition of J&K according to religion. Yes, that partition should have happened in 1947 along with the exchange of population between India and Pakistan. India can accept the Mussaraf proposal, if Pakistan and Bangladesh would agree to an exchange of population. They can have all Muslims from India, and India can have all non-Muslims from Pakistan and Bangladesh. That will sove the problem once for all.

There will be no peace in Kashmir or in India until you seperate out the Muslims to their homeland created in 1947.
If Pakistan sees how India surged ahead of it in last 20 years and has only viable competition in South east Asia as China, they will find the answers for most of the questions. Its their adamant attitude towards things that is stopping their growth.Why can't they talk to India on Science & Commerce cooperation? Why Kashmir should be the first topic?If they get full Kashmir, will they become a developed nation overnight?They have to understand that its better to make a start with a subject acceptable to both parties and pursue it further, else this deadlock will continue.
If a practically feasible soltion is there that is acceptance of LOC as our border. Because by force .. neither India can take back Kasmir(occupied) not Pak can take remaining Kashmir, Both side are aware of this only solution. But any party agrees to this possible solution will face the accusation of treachery from their opponents on both sides. That is why solution is getting delayed!
Why is not Azad Kashmir a separate country...? ("Azad" means independent)
Pak is so weeak it can not hold together as a country, except for the armys help. India should completely ignore Pak. demands and wipe out article 370, which has already run its course.

Azad kashmir is the name given by the Pakistanis as if they have liberated it from India. It is actually 'Pak occupied' Kashmir. And why should it be independent? Just because Pakistan wants it to be? It is an integral part of india. There is no Kashmir problem except to regain the portion occupied by Pakistan and the portion of Aksai Chin gifted by them directly to China. See, they have been kicked on their ass and Bangla Desh is liberated from them for good. That is why they think that they should 'take' kashmir by hook or crook. And that is also something to show to their people. If Pakistan do not harp on kashmir, they are a big zero. That is why they will keep on weeping on it. Let India neglect them. They are no problem for us except to infiltrate a few terrorists now and then. Let them do so. Indian Army is getting a good practice there!

But Indian leadership took no initiative ever to win back the goodwill of the people of Azad Kashmir.They have never demanded Pak to return the occupied Kashmir whereas Pak is always demanding Kashmir. The only thing done by our political masters was misleading Indians to believe that POK is in India by including it Indian Map for the lost 60 years and cheating Indian public.. Now POK people are mentally separated from India and how can you liberate it?
