Nuclear Power or Political Power ????
by kavi sir on Oct 12, 2007 02:06 PM  Permalink

Now the stage is set for the LEFT ? It is a direct question to LEFT - whether they want political power or not ? Agree for N-deal and get political power - otherwise....... Cong will manage to complete the term without the support of left or right ! Is it right ?

Get rid of Manmohan
by Dipak Bose on Oct 12, 2007 02:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

China is already made a contract to supply 6 nuclear plants to Pak. There is no need for PAK to sign any Deal with USA.
Thus, what is possible for Pak is not possible for India.
Manmohan is saying India must sign otherwise earth will fall on India. India will not get nuclear power and we have to use kerocine or cowdung. This is his argument.
Get rid of Manmohan, he is an agent of USA.

PM on nuclear deal
by uddhav raj on Oct 12, 2007 01:54 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is ref to Rediff Article on %u201CPM on nuclear deal%u201D, where in Pm has said "reason and common sense" will ultimately prevail on the issue of the nuclear deal. Well I am sure Common sense of PM will prevail and he will not go ahead with nuclear deal. I hope PM will stick to his word.

PM should realize , what is CPM & CPI. CPM is Careful Peoples Movement & CPI is Careful people of India, who will save India from sale to USA by UPA Govt.

PM and UPA govt is trying to avoid election because they are scare that people will throw them out and again they will have to wait atleast for next 5 years for election.

Pm has agains said that "an honourable deal that is good for India and good for the world." Because what ever UPA govt has got it unofficially from USA govt.( People knows what I mean ) that they will have to return to USA & then where they will get %u201CHonour again%u201D.

PM also said "We are trying to reconcile the divergent points of view. I have not given up hope that reason and common sense will ultimately will win the day," I am sure PM %u201Ccommon sense will ultimately will win the day%u201D and he will return the N Deal to USA without signing.
PM also said %u201Cif the entire time and energy was spent "battling the ghosts of the past", how could work be done efficiently, and also said %u201C that there was a "vast unfinished agenda of development and reform". For this reason PM and UPA govt should backed out from N Deal . They should

Dear PM,
Are you going to give in to BIGOTTED,
Destructive, Obsolete Forces like the Communists
who had opposed [for their Tradeunion Benefits]
the Introduction of Computers in Govt.
Institutions like the Banks in the Seventies and Eighties? Are you going to give in to the Antinational Forces like the Marxists? How can you hope to achieve anything with these FORCES
breathing down your neck? IS not a fresh mandate
more Honorouble than supping with these Wolves
On this issue even diehard BJP Supporters will vote for you [Congress] to humiliate the good for nothing Left Forces.

PM on nuclear deal
by Rajesh Vyas on Oct 12, 2007 01:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

sir:

The Nuclear drama has finally come to an end with the Prime Minister succumbing to the pressure of the China lovers. The anti-Indian and Pro=Chinese left has prevailed over the PM and scored a vicory.

I had an inclination from the beginning that the whole farce was stage managed by the Congress and the Leftists. The Congress wanted to hang to power at all costs after making hollow threats to the Left and the PM challenging the left to withdraw support. The left on the other hand never wanted to withdraw support and wanted to ensure that the orders from Beijing were respected and India remained behind China in progress.

THE PM HAS REALLY FOOLED INDIA> ONE WOULD HAVE EXPECTED LALOO YADAV TO DO SUCH THING BUT ULTIMATELY THE HOLLOIER THAN THOU MANMOHAN SINGH HAS PROVED THAT HE IS NO DIFFERENT/BETTER THAN A THIRD RATE POWER HUNGRY POLITICIAN.

WE MUST CONGRATULATE THE PM FOR FOOLING ALL THE INDIAN PEOPLE ALL THE TIME!!!!!!

Left peoples are Chinease agents in India, and they are fighting for thier own benifits.. never looked for benifits of poors and needy.

What these peoples have done for poors of thier own staes in Tripura, West Bengal and Kerela. In Tripura Hundreds of tribals dies every year due to malnourishment... what your left govt. has done for it ? Don't claim that you are wfighting for poors.

ManMohan talking nonsense
by Dipak Bose on Oct 12, 2007 01:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Nuclear deal has nothing to do with power generation but to do with nuclear nonproliferation. NSG wants to eliminate India's capacity to produce nuclear weapons. This is the issue.
India despite of the sanctions since 1974 was not isolated as it got everything from USSR and Russia since then, but now all these will be taken away and India will get some very old Tarapur Style power plants.
Manmohan is a CIA agent.

This is the victory of common man and left
by smarajit sarkar on Oct 12, 2007 01:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This time I am going to vote for left parties. The reason is as follows. You may not agree with Karat, but that doesn't give netfolks the right to savage the Left in the rather uncivilized manner in which they are doing now. Look what has happened to the countries that accepted American hegemony unquestioningly. Look what is happening to Pakistan. The country was used by the US in every possible way. Now, the USA is the only Krishna and we are all expected to dance to its %u201Cbansuri%u2019, the way the blue-turbaned Manmohan Singh doing. Any man who have self respect and rational view should agree with me. left are the only watch dog of this country

NUCLEAR DEAL
by damodaran mohan on Oct 12, 2007 01:40 PM  Permalink

The left must understand that the INDO-US deal is fundamentally not just a deal with U.S. alone but a mandatory deal to end countrys nuclear isolation and integrate it to the world nuclear community. At best the LEFT can press the govt. on issue based specific foreign policy matters with U.S. and try to influence them from within. The reality of U.S. being the no.1 technology state cannot be denied and as a developing nation we have to be positive in dealing with them.
