First of all BJP was hand in hand for with Chinese/Communists to go anti nuclear. Now they have the audaucity to call congress names ?? BJP has let down both hindus as well as India. For all the hindutva talking, they did not lift a finger to help Kashmiri pundits during their reign. None of the political parties go beyond party lines for the sake of the nation. India is whatever it is despite these rascals who rule.

Yes you r correct. BJP thought Communist will support for the deal and they opposed it first when they knew that communist is opposing it they Adavani changed the stand...All these are just crocked politics to bring the government.
Now they want even go and do the negations with US on the deal, Just because Congress is backing from the deal just because a reason which the whole India knows.
The way BJP and communist are behaving, even school kids also will not do.

You are wrong vats (inverse of stav). BJP is the only party who has supported and raised all voices for Kashmiri Pundits (Hindus) who are driven out of Kashmir by muslim majority. Although Kashmiri Hindus were never BJP's vote bank. It is shameless congress who did not drop a tear on condition of those Hindus.
Abhi election hua to BJP, Commuinst finished... People of india are intelligent, they know who is talking about thier progress. Communists is going to blame America for falling this govt. Who is going to buy that. Indians are not stupid they know, who is responsible for this pole. Congress has no reason to be afraid, go for pole yaar. vaise bhi election to aa hi raha hai.

Then why Congress is not going for the election and sign the agreement. As such it for "national interest" in their term. My friend, just wait, Congress will be wiped out. Appeasing terrorists, dividing caste will not help them. Communists will stay in those two states by muscle power and state (police and cadre) terrorism.

I think it will reverse / This time definitely Congress is going make a big gain.
neither BJP nor Communist could make any impack as good oppositions and more over they have created lot of obstracles for smooth functioning of Govt. Definitely they r going to pay the price for it.
85-90% people are suffering from so called economic reform in the country and sensex reach from 6000 to 19000. only 10% people got this benefit. So wait and see how congress will be kicked out.
Another fact is Sonia Maino wanted to make India a Christian state or Muslim state (as she is christian and her husband is a parsi muslim) placing an afidavit of "non existence of RAM". People are also waiting to give them return back.
Vamsi, your calculation will be proven wrong. Just wait and see. If congress would have gained, then definitely they could go for the election.

I am sorry to say Bihari Babu, u r wrong, Congress has puppet PM, and whose strings are only in sonia's hand, she is afraid if Congress goes for election now then the chances of Rahul Baba being PM will be ruined.......so let this junky, shameless Sardar be the dummy PM.....for the time being
After making such strong statements just a few days ago, making a U turn on facing adversity by a head of the state shows how frightened the Congress party is of going back to the people.

The bjp should thank the congress for its volte- face. If mid term elections had been declared bjp would have been off india's political map!
appeassing terrorists and dividing hindus in caste line will not help congress to come back. just wait and see, congress will be go to the hole. otherwise they would have gone to the election.

How come ya, tamilarasan, you karunathi is there , surely bJp will retain its position dont worry, am Hindu supports , we know BJP will accpet the nuclear deal one thing has to clear, it should not affcet our nuclear wepan prog that all, Not like MMS, ecomy will only devlop nation,,, It will develop guys like karunthi pockets,, 200rs family to 25000 crocre family... Be careful what u saying... Am a field working i know the pulse of people, Am not guy just write here and go...
When BJP is so much interested in the welfare of the nation and when it is ready to accept the implementation of this nuclear deal, why shouldn't it act as a healthy opposition that proves the nation that it is truly concerned about the progression of our country? Why shouldn't BJP give assurance to the UPA government to go ahead and sign the nuclear deal and we would prevent this government from falling down if the left withdraws it's support? After all, it is a matter of another 18 months after which the tenure of the present government would end on its own. I may sound weird and senseless but, I am sure any healthy opposition that has true interests on nation's progression would take this step to prevent the country from facing political instability and at the same time helping the nation to utilize such a wonderful opportunity. Furthermore, this kind of morality by an opposition party would definitely earn exponential recognition and help the party to gain additional seats in the next election. I am sure this ain't gonna happen but, imagine how healthy and stable our democracy would be if the opposition helps the ruling party to complete its tenure when there is a threat of its fall due to some positive reforms for the nation.
This is just my humble opinion and now, don't start bashing me!

Why didn't our Prime Minister and Madam Sonia realise earlier that they need to take the opposition into confidence when we do the international treaties. A healthy debate on why we need nuclear energy when its going to cost Rs15 per unit when compared the the thermal plants which are costing rs 2.50 with imported coal which are currently being built in Gujarat by Tata's and others for 6000MW of power. Debate prior to signing the deal with USA would have helped the country. This what an able prime minister will do without thing king of gaining the political mileage on international treaties. They were already counting chicken before laying the eggs. Even now if PM/Madam think people like you will support and vote an Italian who runs our country through the shameless political party can go for election rather giving tame excuses.

Sandeep has a point - Why not BJP support the congress int he National Interest? Why dont they show to the People of India that the nation is more important for them than the power? That way they will earn a lot of people's respect. That will beat these communists and their Chinese interests to Pulp!

Frustration of Naidu at its hight is coming out. We can imagine what kind it the state of other BJP leaders who are not even able to open their mouths and crying deep in their hearts.
They did every thing possible to create an uncertainity in the present cooilation government. Nuclear deal, Setu Ram, making unecessary agitations in Karnataka and Tamilnadu. The definitelty thought that time has come and they need to gear up for the situation for the mid term elections. Just like a FOX behaviour. They are not true leaders. What is the out come, the lost a good opportunity in Karnataka and next elections Tamilians will teach BJP a lesson.
I did not go much into the Nuclear deal but simple understanding as an Indian is when countries like China, Pakistan, Russia and their anti Indian elements like CPM and CPI and anti Secular elements like BJP are trying to oppose the deal, that itself gives a common man what a good deal it is going to be.
They prove it again and again that the last resort of scoundrel is to become a bad politician. BJP and Communist want to prove it daily. Just because USA is involved in the deal they don%u2019t want it to happen. So funny. Karat gives suggestions/warning to Indian GOVT on whom to make friends ship. He is such a sick fellow.

I agree...but you know what...healthy opposition is posible where there is a healthy parliamentary system...and everyone knows...our system is anything but that..
What anti-national elements is Naidu talking about???
Does BJP assume that it will get everything it asks for in the "negotiation" with US. Come on...this is a good enough deal...whats the problem in alighning with the US.
Mr.PM, Please go ahead with n-deal as it is good for this nation. This is not the time for going back as it will hurt the future India. We are with you

OK. But he is watching the chappals of Sonia Maino to lick them.
The nuclear deal was being pursued with the required vigour but then the left played the role of villain. The left was sleeping for two years, when the nuclear deal was being pursued with vigour. As soon as the talks shifted to a stage where the deal was reaching finishing stages, Left developed jitters, primarily arising out of their illogical anti american stance. Knowing that the government at the center is a coalition government, dependant on the support of the left parties, PM Manmohan Singh should have been wise enough to take them into confidence and then moved further on this issue. He should not have taken the left head on with brash statement calling them to withdraw support etc.,The leftist members are like monkeys, they dont know what is good for the country. They will throw the interests of the country to dogs, if it suits them. If PM was not good in reading the mood of left, Congress party and Sonia Gandhi should have advised him not to be brusque and jeopardise the deal. By his taking a needlessly hard stand on left, and vocalising it through press, PM has got cornered himself into a position from which he could not extricate himself without discomfiture. We need leaders who place the interests of the country over the interests of party or self. And this is what India is currently lacking.

I think the nuclear deal is very good for India. I also think what the left is suggesting is fair. They have an opinion and they can express it. A good discussion reviewing the merits and de-merits would be good.
It is said that the Left could be doing this out of pressure from China. But, "the Left" being Indians, I would trust them first and would like to listen to why they dont agree with the deal and what they think is bad about it. It is never a bad idea in a Democracy to have a discussion, to listen to opinions that are being expressed and to especially pay heed to the people who have rightly been elected as representatives of one or more sections of the society.
