Look who's talking
by Sunil on Oct 12, 2007 05:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Funny to see India say this when so many Indian politicians, movie stars, lawyers, doctors and businessmen have strong connections with terrorists.
India is in a pitiable condition: many talented people who can do world-class work, but hopeless, criminal type politicians and bureaucracy and a general 'chalta hai' type of public attitude.
Indian public MUST make terrorism and corruptions MAJOR issues in the next elections.

And I should also add that many social workers, writers, journalists and human rights activists are fighting on behalf of terrorists.

People will have to provide justice against terrorism, can't expect Congress
by You yourself on Oct 12, 2007 05:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Like the kidnappers were lynched in Bihar, people need to teach a lesson to the terrorists. Since the suicide bombers cannot be punished easily, Bihari culture will provide the justice to the terrorists' relatives, sometimes even very distant relatives, or mosques. This would make terrorists think twice before trying to kill Hindus.

Send a clear signal to terrorists, their sponsors: India
by S Kiran on Oct 12, 2007 05:02 PM  Permalink

By ranting out when Indians are held on terrorism charges. The recent example of the behavior of Indian govt when an Indian doctor was held in Australia. The senseless ministers/babus should have shut their mouth till the investigation was over. Australian govt was doing its investigation, because this doctor's SIM card was found with terrorists, who was this doctor's cousin.

With this kind of attitude, this govt can never fight terrorism. Other examples are soft peddling in H'bad blast case, not hanging parliament shootout accused, the list goes on ....

terrorism

If you stop appeasement policy then any violative act detrimental to peaceful living can be eradicated. The government has just done the opposite by repelling POTA and TADA which has given thumbing confidence to the minority communities to act as per their wish and instill fear in the minds of innocent people of all faith. Formerly they were targetting commercial hubs and now they have changed to religious place of worship in particular mosques which causes embarrasment to muslims as they are targetted by their own men in terrorist form.

What a Joke!!
by rajesh on Oct 12, 2007 03:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What clear signal these jokers are talking about ?. India is the only country which allows terrorists get away without punishment and does not have a strong law to contain terrorism. Its so soft on terrorists and the perpetrators of such crimes. Being so soft ( played out for Vote Bank politics), what support we can get from other nations ?. Everhy time the terrorists attack in India, the hounerable Home Minister, PM, Sonias etc. tell the country that 'we will not allow the country to be cowed down by such acts adn will acts firmly'!. And they expect the terrorists to understand that and become civilized!.
