D Gowdaji is not acting like an ex-Prime minister but like a typical street politician. we all know how he became P.M. Laloo in a meeting 1996 told the coalition parties "kissi gaddhe ya goda go bitta do". The coalition immeditely took goda as "gowda" and thus we had Deve Gowda as the P.M. Since then after he lost the prime ministership and can only pity him. DGowda and sons owning crores and crores of property are still not satisfied. And want to grab as much as possible berofe relinquishing power As an ex-prime minister, he is expected to air his comments on international and national issues. On the contrary most of the time his concern seems to be real estate in and around Bangalore, so much so that he crusaded the exit of eminent people from important agencies. The people of Karnataka lost the services of Mr Jayakar Jerome soon after Mr Deve Gowda formed the government with Congress and then Narayana Murthy, kene%u2026. %u201CMannina Maga%u201D should be renamed as kundhina maga which he deserves

Man you made me laugh. But on one point DeweGowda is right. Why does Infosys need so much land for their campus? Cant they build a tall building instead of grabbing the land?

Let us not mix infosys and DG dirty politics. (of course i don't work for them) Infosys has done enough to earn that land. If Bangalore is famous that is because of Infy.

Who are you to say Infosys has done enough? The land belongs to the country first and then the private citizens or group of citizens. If Infosys touts its capitalistic attitude, pay fare share for the land, better yet do not buy 1000 acre land. By this logic, Tendulkar, Aishwarya, Sania everyone has done their bit, give them 1 acre for free in prime location.

What an idiot

tall buildings are risky and unless u r short of land it is not recommended look Deve Gowda would ve made atleast 100 crores in promoting PWD engineers on the last day - he calls himslef saviour of farmers???

Rajashekaran should not become chief minister
by Shashidhara s on Oct 11, 2007 08:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

who is this rajashekaran, we never know this man in stream line politics. how he can become leader of lingayat and how he has given authority to represent lingayat community, what he has done for lingayat community or to the state or to the nation. Ok how many times he has elected to assembly and parliment with direct elections. So totaly it is unfair to give cheif minister post to Mr.Rajashekaran just becuase he is a lingayat. Please take into consideration of other candidates irrespective of casts who can give their best to the state and nation.
