Thank goodness for petty scumbags like maya, lalu, mulayam et al - nation desperately need some comic relief to take their minds off their oppressively horrific little lives, and boy do they get a 'taamaasha' which rivals even TV shows like Indian Idol and such like. Name any state in this wretched misgoverned fetid land, and it's all one big joke - run by jokers, but it's not funny - it's not funny that 850 million folks live on less than $2/day, farmers are committing suicide by the thousands, babies are dying for lack of bare basic health care, 60% of the population are illiterate, and 90% of the population are underemployed, ekeing out a miserable existence, all the whiles watching these filthy megalomanic scumbags like Mayawati et al waste billions of taxpayers monies on self-aggrandizing useless 'projects' just to satisfy their over-blown egos. 'People deserve the govt they have', yessir, they certainly do - they're the one who put those carrion in power.
