The six-day %u201Cborder skirmishes%u201D from September 7-6 to 13, 1967, had all the elements of a high drama, including exchange of heavy artillery fire, and the PLA soldiers tried to cross the border in large numbers.
The attack was repulsed at all points, According to an account of this incident, from the details of the fighting available, it appeared the Chinese had received a severe mauling in the artillery duels across the barbed wire fence. Indian gunners scored several direct hits on Chinese bunkers, including a command post from where the Chinese operations were being directed. The Chinese were also known to have suffered at least twice as many casualties as the Indians in this encounter between Indian and Chinese armed forces and also lost 200 square miles to India.

Vishnu, your information is correct. We did hit them where they deserved then. And be sure, India has a lot of surprises for China in future that others don't know. Let them keep talking about China's greatness. When defence minister, George Fernandes has gone on record to say that we are fully prepared against China and that Pakistan does not matter to us at all. Right from 1965, India's defence budget figures are declared but India has kept an absolute mum on its utilization so far. Guns, tanks and planes are just peripheral. You can guess, where the major portion is gone.
So now the commnuist leftists china suckers will ask the goverment to give up sikkim in the interst of our country - CHINA. Wake up bongs and mallus. Vote these idiots out.

Friends, unfortunately we don't have a solution for Waste Bengal...untill and unless Murkhadev and its Retarded Criminals (knowns as Commies) are kicked out forcibly...one thing President's rule could be a solution to start...but unfortunately Antonia Maino has put a Chor there also as the President, hoping desperately to stop BJP at all costs. China is helping the retards to oppose the N-Deal as it frightens them. They tried with Pakis and it backfired on them via the Uzbeks, so they planned another dirty way to stop and damage India's progress.

Dear someone, OK if u, Indians, hate us, Bengalis, so much then we have no other option than to go out of India with our land. Then both u, Indians, and we, Bengalis, can live peacefully. We are not ur slaves. Ok accepted that we r WASTE people. But tell me what great things Indians have achieved in so many years????????? Just for ur information Hongkong (Ex-British colony, now under China) is much more developed than any part of India. I think West Bengal will prosper much more under British or Chinese rule. I was a patriotic Indian during my school days. But later on I faced so much hatred from other Indian brothers (!!!)for my Bengali identity both in real life and in internet forum that I have lost all faith in socalled united (!!) mera mahan Bharat !!!!

China is growing leap and bounds so its ambition of imperialism. Money and power is concentrated to particular generations, they and their army thinks that they can conquer USA. They don't understand the rapid way in which they are groowing , they can't bear a missile attack in Bejing.The economy will collapse , so of India also. Few foolish chinese will push their country in oblivion and then Japanese and Koreans would rule them economically if not physically. These skirmishes won't be fruitful to any body.So the country need bowls of rice than barren lands.Is any chinese listening?????
In the same India can also claim that china made roads, airports, military establishment in Akshya-Chin and many other parts. We Indian are so easy to be gullible. We easily convinced on Bhai-Bhai philosophy. While other sides of border it not true, Not in Pakistan, not in China, not in Bangladesh, not in Srilanka and not in Nepal. Around 15th August I read and many of you may have read "Main Ek Achha Pakistan Chahtaa hoo", it was a good will article towards Pakistan, but can body found such things in Pakistan media towards India? We should not be so defensive, we should identify our true freinds and should support them even being baised towards them. After many years of independence we are not able to make true friends becuase of our foriegn poicies.

B P, Our stupid non-aligment and socialism policies took us down. We made enemies in the West and in the US back in the 60s and 70s.We were dancing to the music of Soviet Union and called our self Non-aligment nation. That was pure BS. Now you see the difference in India . with in few yrs India became 2nd growing economy in the world. GIve some credit to Mr.Manmohan singh. It all started when he became finacial minister under Mr.Rao. And BJP also did a fine job in foreign policy. Now COMMUNIST are the stumbling block for Indias progress. They are the true enemy of India and its people.
Our internal going on fights are closely watched by our neighbours and they strike on us when we are internally weak to face their claim and challenge.Till recently Burma(Myanmar) Lanka(Srilanka) Pakistan and Bangla Desh were parts of India but our weaknesses divided India into many countries.If we did not learn a lesson from our past misdeeds soon India will be divided into two parts again .India will be limited to North only Ram, Krishna,Buddha,Nank ,Kabir all belong to north and our leaders do not mention Saint Trivelluvar from south whose 'vani' is considered the 'pancham' veda.Whenever we remember south ,in our minds Ravan comes first. Leaders from North India is accusing Karunanidhi as enemy of Ram instead of scientifically analysing 'Ramsetu' Project in the present context visualising the welfare of whole country.

Ram Sethu project is not a gain for any citizen of this country. its a total waste of tax payers money. Everyone who is protesting is seeing only the one side of the coin - the politicians are politizing the issue by relating to God. But the actual fact is many mariners think that cananl cannot be built as estimated, because of the corrosiveness of the soil. Our "Great" leader karunanidhi is aiming for two certain things - One --> the project worth 500 crores in which more than half the amount will go to his account. The next one --> by "denying" Ram you can easily win the "Minority" votes & prove yourself as "Secular". There is no scientific proof that this project is going to be a success and will help a common man.

I agree with some policies of Karunanidhi but irresponsible behaviour in a secular country by CM is not acceptable.Majority of Huindus are fed up with such cheap gimmicks.BJP should come to power on merit and social issues not on cheap religious stuff.Otherwise there is no defference between it and senseless islamic religious groups.

Is the real motive of DMK behind setu samudram project is to help the LTTE. If the channel become the international water which is very easily accessible to LTTE, they can get the arms and other requirements easily and also threaten and collect the money from the International ships passing by.
Indian Tax payers money is being spent to strengthen LTTE. That%u2019s why DMK is very keen to complete the project. otherwise there is no sense in taking up this project
How congress and sonia support this project which is mostly useful to LTTE who is the Killer Rajiv

As has been rightly termed in these columns, the communist parties of India are in fact Chinese Parties of India. They wd do their best to drag India down, both politically and economically, in order that India does not ever match China in economic and military power. All their protests, fulminations are all designed to ensure Chinese supremacy and cut at the root of India's new found energy and progress since liberalisation. They publicly supported China in the 1962 war and the few dissidents within the Chinese Party of India were called reactionaries. They called Nehru the running dog of imperialism and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose a cur of despicable origin. Their outlook is 'international', not narrow minded like urs and mine, and for the proletarian imperialism they would do anything. Their current mission, assigned by the Chinese and taken with all seriousness by the Chinse Parties of India, is to ensure that India does not catch up with China in any sphere. Saboteurs are unfortunately calling the shots today and deciding the course of the nation.

Mr Yadav. I agree with your first part of argument. But the last part is not correct. If some thing is economically viable and physically long lasting with less maintenance, any body will appreciate that. This project is neither satisfies the above said rules nor the sentiments of mass hindus. In this Karunanidhi is playing his anti hindu attitute. It is even evident that recently he went on saying that he is improving things for Hindu religion just to pacify the hindu sentiments. He is a chamelion trying to make a stage for his son to become CM. It holds good for all Indian politicians. Indira promoted rajeev, sonia is promoting rahul. In karnataka, Devegowda promoted kumarswamy and revanna and the list goes like this. We should not support this. They have become used to power and enjoying Gov machinary. So some one from their family should be in power. hell to those people who are sucking the blood of poor Indians. The kids of politicians have become a curse to this country.
