Dear Friends. either is country politics or state politics...we are the people decided to vote for these stupids and now suffering like this, if we say we do not vote for these fellows and we only vote for really experienced highly educated person in each field who can controll all these ministries and give us some good meaning ful governance and stop this nonsence...i think that kind of day should come and we should refuse to vote for these all party stupid politicians...till then this is going to happen everytime and everywhere and we never have control on anything..even all these fellows decide and sell the country to some other country like US or European union...and still we will be sitting like poppets and will be able to do anything...wake up my dear friends we should protest these bloody politrics and politisians...let us start opposing to vote make people aware in your respective areas...lets start a new beginning....jai hind

Reddy Garu!Unfortunately, this government is not voted to power by people like you and me, but crores if poverty striken, illiterate lot for whom mere survival is a big ordeal and hence a few hundred rupees given to lure them for voting will be big. The idea of "none of these" option in the electoral system has been vetoed by the politicians! If the british brought the "divide and rule" to India, our politicians (who are made from us only!) have perfected it now! There's no salvation for this country unless there's some reincarnation of God himself! Sambhawami Yughe,Yughe..

Unleash CBI on State Buruacrats and polititians
by Venkat on Oct 10, 2007 05:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is the best time to unleash the CBI on babus and make them caugh up all the booty thye garnered during the past few years under the protection of the ruling party minus CBI. Lokaa Ayuktha can sfiftly act now as there is no miniters to protcet Babus.
Even IT can raid the ministers(ex) and take back all the money.
With this money the Governor can spend on emergency mainteinance of our worst roads ever any one has enjoyed. Night out on roads is a regular feature on Karnataka NH 48 Ghat sections.

Pl listen H'norable Governor and act swiftly.

In the 60 year history of independent India, have U ever come across one politician or a top govt official getting penalised for their crimes?! The judiciary is so slow and lacks sting.Even if someone gets convicted for murder like Sibu soren, he wont be behind bars for long! Nothing short of a social revolution can change this country for the better. The best way is, if you can't resist it, join it!If you can't enjoy it, endure it..or, embrace it!

Lokayukta doesn't have powers to prosecute a politician! Only now, in a few states including Karnataka, the Lokayukta has been "vested" with power to prosecute the state officials! Do you think out Indian politicians are so naive to dig their own grave?! They are far cleverer than that and that's why they are sitting there and you and me are lamenting in this forum, which anyway will not get us anywhere! I am happy alteast it gives a vent for us and express our minds freely!

You are right. Unfortunate India.
We should lewarn how to respect our country from Polititians, like how did Narayan Murthy learnt it from Polititians.
This is the fate of our country.
Only solace is we are better than Pak or Iraq.

Late 80s R K Narayans novel based serial 'Malgudi days' was all about 'Swamy and His Friends'. Whereas Deve Goudas JDS is also based on same platform in new style called 'Swamy and His Father'.

Deve Gowda is acting as if he owns Karnataka %u2013 he will get a kick on his La%u2026da when he goes for polls
by S S on Oct 10, 2007 05:47 PM  Permalink

DGowda and sons owning crores and crores of property are still not satisfied. You will be astonished to learn that forty years ago Bihar was considered one of the three best administered states in India. Dgowda and his twio sons have kicked out all good beurocrats (Jayakar Jerome, Jairaj,Narayanamurthy, now Kene of NICE and mor to follow) A later generation of politicians ruined all that. If Gowda and sons are allowed to dictate their terms the history shall repeat itself in Karnataka but at a much faster pace. Bangalore will be patna in 10years. We cannot tolerate Deve Gowda & sons anymore

Look at the plight of a Government machinery!
by sri sri on Oct 10, 2007 05:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The second division assistant says he has no work to do! Funny! as if these assistants were working for those Netas! Are they not supposed to have a certain set activities for the department and position they hold? In a factory, if the manager is dismissed, does that mean all the workers will have no work to do and the factory will be closed down till new manager is appointed? Its totally forgotten that the Government is for the people of this country and not the politicians. Actually speaking, Govt is an orphan! anyone who can have a hand on it, can take it for a jolly ride - be it the Netas or the Babus or even the common man; This is the bane of the present society which is based on materiliatic values. Everyone rushes in to make a quick buck. And since the Govt is not an accountable body and not a single individual owns it or is responsible for its functioning, no one cares if work is done or not! No wonder the clerk out there says he's jobless!

Family politics

Father wants to rule Inida with 23 seats, son wants rule Karnataka with less than 40 seats, another wants to rule India with PM, President and Governer in his/her control. Its unfair that a powerful and effective democracy is controlled by selfcentered politicians. Its really a bad luck...

solution to this is to bring in a two-party system and do away with all these drama...but the parties dont have guts to bring this into force...and thats the irony of this great country too...

It is not that the parties don't know this. They want this. Every time try their luck. If some one gets majority, they are the luckiest. If not try alternative courses. Join together to spoil the majority decission. Smallest party will rule by manipulation. That is politics.
Kick these idiots onec for by bringing Military rule at least for next 10 years. \
Amend the Constitution so as to prohiblit the small petty parties to rule buy hook or crook. Allow only educated people to become representatives. Eliminate criminals from politics.

Democracy has also been a much abused word like 'Secularisnm' and 'Social Justice' in India. What we see is only a farce in the name of democracy. Democracy is all about opinion and empowerment of majority. But ironically for the past few years only minority bunch of people are ruling India or deciding the fate of this country. Even a father-son combine can decide the destiny of a stete!. What a sad state of 'Demo-Crazy'..

Thanks,Rajesh! I am really moved! This is the first time in all my posts that someone has agreed to join me for a revolution. Ofcourse, I am a very law abiding, sensible, social citizen of India and not a terrorist or a naxalite. I want this country to prosper. But am at a loss where to begin. Guess it needs like minded people such as U and me to start it somewhere and make it happen..lets see if any one else responds..

gowda and family shoud be compulsorily made to retire from politics. Gowda's politics is been nothing else but back stabbing. One of the worst politicians of the kind. But a true"politician" who knows nothing but to do politics. It is a matter of shame for all kannadiga's and to the people of Hassan in particular that this man was elected MP and was been a PM also sometime back. If this is democracy, it is better to dissolve democratic institutions and find a good dictator who atleast would be a good administrator. Definetely we Indians need to look for an alternative so that democratic machinery performs the way it does in true democratic cou ntries and societies
