Actually I believe to the contrary, these people would have a strong chance of coming to power again if these freebies are not challenged and quashed in any court of law. The reason is these are the people who form the major vote bank for politicians (People who actually go to a booth and vote). In addition to this these are the people who are actually appointed as election officers/presiding officers giving them every chance to return the favour (or the intent). It's actually a master move by our Hon'ble EX PM. only politicians like him can stoop so low so as to betray a party (BJP in this case) and then strategise to play a master stroke like this. God-willing these people would get their due eventually.
The way these politicians gift away, its looks more like their personal wealth. Come on People of Karnataka..... ensure that these guys JD(S) never gets a seat in the next elections. Please cast your votes and ensure that your family and friends do to.
This is like Saddam Hussein's case. Before behead Iraqi govt. asked for his last wish. I think Kumaraswamy and Revanna knows, they cant become ministers one more time in life time. Their story now like Uday and Kussey, Saddam's sons.
The only lasting impression one has about H D Deve Gowda as PM was he was always sleeping (like good old Kumbakarna) and when he woke up he destroyed every thing. It is better the senior Gowda goes to sleep again.

You are right we have teach this Deve(what is so godly about him) Gowda(who is an insult to Gowda's) a teach, we should throw him into the dustbin's of History
