First understand road technology then raise yourself to Nuclear Technology...
by Sanjay Reddy on Oct 10, 2007 04:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What a shame - asking Digvijay Singh whether nuclear deal is good or not ? Diggy doesnt know what is a good road in MP and after he took charge of AP - there also he has screwed up all the roads. First understand road technology then raise yourself to Nuclear Technology.

In this world even brothers are going by the law(wats on paper) when they share wealth of their father, now sonia wants us to believe that the USA(criminal no1 of the world) would write one thing on paper and do the other thing i.e not stop supply of fuel and tech to India...

The congress party cleverly never lets rural India mature in thinking coz thats their strategy for a prosperous Congress party..

BJP didnot go ahead withit because nation is not yet mature, it needs super raods first vision of BJP to have expres corridors. The Congress is trying to implement rejeted projects like seethusamudram an 123, since there are more kickbacks and less gain from economic point of view, yes if u require spend uranium dumps from US its fine, they will dump all the garbage in the name of uranium for india to deal with. Yes i appreciate ur views , we need nuclear energy to increase our infrastructure and for growth of our economy.
Manmohan singh is the person who knows econmy very well. Where ever he goes he talks about economics and developement even in "gurudwaras" he talks about business ( saw his speech at delhi's bangla sahib )
Indians should favour him for nuclear deal as its right step towards economy.
And LEFT ,, what is left .. nothing. They should understand the demand of current society rather then jus saying no to each and every thing

Nuclear Deal in the interest of Congress Party
by Kiran More on Oct 10, 2007 04:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Congress is pushing for nuclear deal for national interest. They are pushing it for their own interest. Seeing the reaction of rediff readers and various other news channels, they assume, it left withdraws support and there is an election they will capture the power of their own.
They got lot of opportunity to change India aince independence - there was no left party to oppose them. But what have they done in last 60 years. They have given the country only corruption and corruption.
It doesn't sound credible when the same party talks about nation interest.

How about GARIBI HATAO, THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN GARIB ONLY WANTS VOTE,SAME WAY THEY USE OTHER MINORITY FOR VOTES.

Now, If we really want to Develop, Nuclear Tchnology
Lets assign

16 BILLION DOLLAR FOR FAST TRACT RESEACH
DEVELOPMENT ON NUCLEAR AND ALL OTHER FORM OF EXISTING POWER SUPPLY AND IMPROVE BOTH IN EFFICIENCY AND CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE/POWER DESTRIBUTION and PRODUCTION.

I BET WE CAN GET THING ROLLING IN TWO YEARS.

ALSO SET UP 2-IIT's ,2-IIM, 2-IID in EACH STATE, MONEY WILL BE WELL SPENT, CONSTRUCT THESE IN SMALL BACK WARD AREA,SO RURAL AREA BENIFIT BOTH ECONOMICALLY AND LEARN FROM SMART STUDENTS.AND DOnot TROW AWAY EVERY ELECTION ON "GARIBI HATAO"-I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THOSE MONEY ARE GOING.

I think Nation BUILDING is priority, and not deviding nation on Phoney Scheme to Like-QUOTA FOR ADMISSION,BUILD MORE IIT'S, MORE MEDICAL SCHOOLS, BUILD TECHNICAL SCHOOLS IN VILLAGES-the YOU DON'T NEED
SCHEME LIKE "QUOTA SYSTEM"

BUILD NATION ON NATION'S POTENTIAL, THEN IF WE DEAL WITH USA, RUSSIA, CHINA or for in that case ANY COUNTRY
DOES NOT MATTER because we will be dealing on base of Strength.

I am For NUCLEAR POWER, BUT WE NEED TO BE CAUTIOUS,and
need to understand what we are signing to ,we as Nation need to know, so that incase we fall in trap, atleast we find out ways to get out of it,rather than get despaired and fall flat on out butt, as it happened in past DURING TARAPUR FUEL SUPPLY.

So here is advice,DEBATE,PLAN FOR EVENTUALITY,BE VIGILENT,

Dont see what mistake has been done in the past. See what is the need of the hour.

Power is the main issue in this country. Global warming is the main issue throughout the world. And for these issues Nuclear power generation is the only solution.

Irrespective of which government gets the deal done (Left, Congress or BJP), this deal is important for our country.

Praleed,

You are wrong. Nuclear Power option is not the best option for future generation. For your kind information, Many European countries are shuting down their Nuclear Power Plant and looking for Alernative source of Energy because of safety (and cost of safety is also high) risk involved in Nuclear Power Plant and also waste disposal problem. Instead of paying huge amount for Nuclear Reactor and Nuclear fuel, why congress government is not developing infrastucture to utilise natural resourses for power generation? Why they are not adopting Efficient electricity distribution system? Why they are not spending money on to aware people about how to live low Carbon emmision life? Nuclear deal will contribute only 3% need of power and we can generate this much power by Alternative sources in less investment. Congress government is only interested in this deal because they can take some "Katki" from Fuel supplier group and USA is eager to make this deal because their traiditional market (France, UK, Germany, Denmark) for nuclear fuel are shuting down their nuclear plant so they want to creat a new market.

Congress isbent upon creating sick things again, which BJP got rid off during its governance. Congress is interested in sick things for getting constant kickbacks which I don't know whether thats in national interest. I thought India is a democratic country and any one must take a majority along to arrive at any decision/deals, majority means national interest, for other they have options to go to Pakistan, China, Gulf nations etc.

When we know all this, ask yourself what is the kind of bargaining India neeeds to do???If we are going to end up with loss of sovereignity with no more future chances of being the richest/powerful nation in the world(superpower),why do we need the deal at all,we can all go back into the farms and grow our crops and eat them ,sleep in huts ,we would be living anywayss...Bala you have to realise the congress has got us a deal which would be useful for next 5-10 yrs but after that????what about pakistan ,who would save us from them??

In the name of progress we can do anything.
